Forest Matchday Stuff and Nonsense

All this criticism of of Pearson seems to me to be a bit moaney.

Having been promoted last season, we started today 3rd in the league.

Yes, it's not nice to lose to Forest, but we can't win every game we play.

If we do end up losing (and strange things could happen if we score next), chalk it off to experience and get on with the next game.

Sounds like our best player today is Max Gradel.

People calling for Pearson's head is just ridiculous. But taking off our top scorer seems a bit strange.. I'm not the biggest fan of Fryatt but taking him off when were 2-0 down

Thinking positive anyway...were only 2-0 down, anything can happen.

Let's not forget earnshaw cost more than about our entire team put together, plus they have spents loads this summer on top of that and loaned excellent players too!!

We've got it wrong, hopefully NP learns from it. 45 minutes to salvage some pride!!

The goals may have been dodgy but the scoreline doesn't flatter Forest at all.

We have been abysmal - especially in midfield where King and Oakley are having absolute shockers. Kermo and Fryatt couldn't do very much because the service to them has been so poor.

Unless Pearson gives them an almighty rocket during the break we could be in for absolute hiding.

Maybe this is a case of chickens coming home to roost. The QPR game apart, too many players have been off form for weeks and now a team is punishing us.

As horrendous as this is it actually could have been 3 or 4 nil if Weale hadn't come to the rescue on a couple of occassions.

Whats with that profile pic?...Pouting?.....

No, but you could see it coming the way they're playing and the way our formation has been ineffective. I don't see why everyone is overreacting, this was coming from a mile away.

no one is overreacting, the bizarreness of the substitutions alone merits comment, the fact that we could be 4 or 5 down against our local rivals means that people are just that bit more dissappointed by what is happening---

and being disgusted by beeing 2-0 down and falling apart at the seems is not fickle, certainly it is not comparable to being 1-0 up and playing under par but still competitive like last week---

What is going on? Have you got a stream to the game? None of us are there and none of us can see it with our own eyes.

you don't have to be at the game to know that the team selection and substitutions have been a shambles, that we have had zero shots on or off target and that forest could be out of sight by half time...

maybe we can still get something from us, but i'm pretty certain that everyone watching the game will come back and report the worst half of football under pearson...

\Suspect tactics from pearson today, and quality in depth shows today, Milan time for signing the cheque leave it blank thou! about £4M needed for a striker and £3 for a decent playmaker alongside Wells

anyone calling for his head has their Tongue firmly wedged in their cheek I'd imagine.

Lets keep this in perspective, if we lose today we will still be in a good position, Pearson is a young manager and he is learning as he goes, soon he will learn that the team is more important than the individuals, form is better than favouritism and just because you have 10 strikers on your books you shouldn't try and play them all in the same match.

In his head and on paper it looks a strong team with King protecting the back four, Wellens and Oakley playing the probing passes and big Yann to flick on for and support our 2 superb frontmen, Fryatt and Waggy are class acts for sure.

For whatever reason it isn't working, and whilst the likes of Oakley, Gally and Yann maybe better footballers than Howard N'guessen Dyer and Adams they don't provide the width and cutting edge we need, they are not good enough to pick apart a well organised defence, and sometimes especially in this division you can't beat getting your head down running to the by line and crossing it in for the big man.

IMO

442 Fryatt or Waggy with Yann or Howard, 2 from Wellens Oakley and King in the middle, and 2 wide men from DNG Adams Dyer and Max.

This leaves Gallagher, probably one of the best footballers at the club without a place in the team, but I don't see where he would play, he has played all over for us so far so I have no idea what his best/natural position is.

I still trust Nigel, he is normally a good motivator once he has his tactics sorted then we will hopefully get back on track.

2nd Half started,... Come on City.. Still a little hope if we start well.. We were dominating Watford and were winning 2-0 at HT. And they got something out of it. A little inspiration!

and also forest have experience of playing at this level, having said that we've made it very easy for them...

This is just confirmation that we really are an average side.

Robbie Neilson makes me

Don't start on Neilson.

I'd rather we be more effective going forward in games, than relying on what has been a pretty solid back line, to make us more competitive.

i think the fryatt thing was a result of the meaningless exchange of kermo for howard... it was either fryatt or howard by that point....

i'm guessing bringing a winger on for the first substitutopn is what most of us would have expected....
