davieG Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 He won't be leaving the club. Mandaric said that he wouldn't be selling key players. He'd be in training today, NP wouldn't let him leave. He'd have to complete a medical and sign his contract within 3 hours and 6 minutes. Not going to happen. He also said amongst many other things that if we were near the play-offs he'd stump up some cash, from what Pearson's saying that doesn't seem to be the case.
caz05 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 I'm gonna be so pissed, if we sell Fryatt..... Your not the only one mate Be glad when this days over
Hitesh Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 There would be tears if he left. You chopping onions tonight then?
Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Doubt Wigan are going to sign him, my bet is they've already made enquiries and MM has given them a price they're not willing to pay. Hence the signing of Victor Moses yesterday, when it had appeared that West Brom or Forest were nailed on to sign him. I'd be extremely disappointed and shocked if he left today.

I also think they signed Victor Moses at a steal. He was originally on the market for £5m before the administrators demanded a quick sale. Pure speculation, but could be faced with a £5m tag for Fryatt and £2.5m for Moses, it was a bit of a no-brainer for Wigan.

I think Palace going into administration has indirectly kept Fryatt here till May at least.

Edmund Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 The People says Latics boss Roberto Martinez is putting together a £2m package for Fryatt which could well include midfielder Ben Watson. I stopped after 'The People'. Just a story which appeared on football rumours a few days back.

Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Any deal was dead as soon as Moses signed for Wigan. Pleased though, let's hope he can rattle in some more between now and May.
