Bert Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Believe what you want. I'll believe what I know. One thing I will say though is, things can change very quick in football.
Bert Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Enjoy. Not really a lot to enjoy to be honest. You enjoy your "info" too.
Matt Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 No he didn't. Fact. Bert, everyone knows Daggers is always right! I'd love to see his responses if anyone else had made the claims he's made....

Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Our reliable website Football Rumours had several beans of joy yesterday, including:- Fryatt to Wigan for £2.5m with Ben Watson coming the other way, with Tommy Smith coming from Portsmouth for £1m - Fryatt to Wigan for £2.5m with Jason Koumas and Jason Scotland coming to us (Koumas loan) - A second report of Fryatt to Wigan with Watson coming the other way, and £2.5m But the best, and the one which made me laugh, was this little chestnut... - Wayne Brown to Middlesbrough for £5m Someone's dreaming If you think the Wayne Brown to Middlesbrough 1's funny, I saw Wayne Brown having a medical at Werder Bremen, fee will be around 5m. Think of it reasonably. Fryatt isn't going anywhere.

Matt Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Not gonna say anything else, or I'll more than likely get a PM. Oh, he's done that to you in the past too?
Brainy Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 ohoh, but did he then block you from replying to his PM?
Daggers Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 You've got a regular Brains Trust meeting going on here now!
Nationwider Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I'd take £1.5m if it's all Pearson's to piss away. Good bit of business.

Guest Bilo Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Crystal Palace teenager Victor Moses signs for WiganCrystal Palace's teenage striker Victor Moses has completed a deal to sign for Wigan Athletic, BBC Sport understands. Wigan are yet to confirm the move but Palace boss Neil Warnock said on Saturday that Moses, 19, would join a Premier League side for £2.5m. Championship sides Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and West Brom had also been in the hunt to sign Moses. The money raised by the sale will provide a lifeline for Palace who are currently in administration. After Palace's 2-0 win over Peterborough on Saturday Warnock joined his players on the pitch to applaud their fans after a difficult week. And he said of the Moses deal: "I think it's done, Victor is going to the Premier League. "I think £2.5 million is a snip for one of the best young players we've got. "Manchester City should have bought him ages ago instead of messing about, but another Premier League club have made an offer. "I've spoken to a lot of managers over the last six months and one of the managers who should have taken him in the last window has come to his senses. The teenage forward is deemed Palace's biggest asset and he has been linked with a host of top domestic and European clubs during the transfer window. Palace had hoped to pick up around £5m for Moses before the club was plunged into administration but they may have to settle for half that amount. The club's administrators, P&A Partnership of Sheffield and Leeds, had appointed the Wasserman Media Group, who represent Michael Owen, to field bids for Moses. Twenty scouts watched Moses in Palace's FA Cup fourth round 2-2 draw with Wolves and fears of possible injury to the striker have since seen joint administrator Brendan Guilfoyle instruct Eagles manager Warnock not to play him. Moses moved to England at the age of 11 after the murder of his parents in Nigeria. I think this pretty much puts the speculation to bed to be honest. They've got their striker from the Championship so I would imagine Wigan are done now. Must admit though, never saw this deal coming as all the reports said it was between West Brom and Forest. It could be good news all round in the end then.

goose2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 according to tribal football (i'm not sure how reliable these are) wigan are set to bid 2.5mill + ben watson.
casablancas Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Can't sell him now, unless big Nige has someone lined up and ready to sign. I want to keep Fryatt he has what it takes to take us to the prem, of that I am sure. I reckon players like him, King and Morrison are the players we need to be building our team around.
Hitesh Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 The rumours are starting to pick up on this one - might just be because everywhere else its quiet so they are just picking old news up but I can't wait until 5PM. If we do sell him then its very unlikely we will get someone else in as well!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 He won't be leaving the club. Mandaric said that he wouldn't be selling key players. He'd be in training today, NP wouldn't let him leave. He'd have to complete a medical and sign his contract within 3 hours and 6 minutes. Not going to happen.

They could have been working on this for weeks and even if they hadn't, if they had to, they could knock out a contract in no time at all. I do agree though, I don't think he'll be leaving (this transfer window anyway).
