Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 Alonso will do it today, believe. Think Massa will do ok as well, but I'd probably be forced to settle for a 1-3. Good start from both is essential.
Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 Sensational drive from Felipe. Showed why he was the 2008 champion today, unbelievable overtaking manoeuvre on those two or three cars 15 laps from the end. Fantastic podium from Fernando too. And with the upgrades coming up for Valencia Ferrari are well are truly back in the mix.

Hamilton winning yeah?

Massa would have been on the podium today at the very least were it not for a first corner collision with Liuzzi. One of the fastest men all the way through it and some sensational overtaking. He's definitely due a win after a year and a half, but he's on course to do it this season.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 The only thing that matters is an Englishman won.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 Great to see McLaren dominating, both drivers pretty much at their peak at the minute, fantastic stuff from Lewis and Jenson.
Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 The only thing that matters is an Englishman won. I don't buy (and never have done) into this whole mob mentality and over extreme patriotism that you people seem to have - wanking over anybody remotely British. For me, I hope that the best driver wins. And the fact that the best driver is either Fernando or Felipe pretty much every race, it's a complete travesty that they're not winning races regularly.
Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 Oh, and I loved Schumacher for many a year. Absolutely loved him. But he's being a right cunt since he came back. Give it up, old man. You're almost sabotaging the hero status you deservedly hold.
Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 And for what it's worth, I'm betting on Felipe in Valencia for the third straight race. The win is coming, only a matter of time.

That's not a fact at all, it's a very skewed opinion. I'm all for people supporting whoever they want, but your bias is totally embarrassing. Massa and Alonso are cracking drivers, but they aren't doing particularly well at the moment, just accept it.

If they were the best drivers the surely they would be winning the races. The fact you want Massa or Alonso to win, is due to the fact you bum Ferrari Hamilton and Button we're the best drivers today.

So you believe Hamilton and Button were the best drivers, and the best drivers always win the races? So I'm assuming you believe that if Hamilton and Button were racing in the Virgin they'd still win every race. Good one. The car is letting Fernando and Felipe down at the moment. They're both World Champions and they just need the car to come together. As I said though, upgrades in place next race, we should be right up there.
Asha Posted 13 June 2010 Author Posted 13 June 2010 But I'm not trying to be provocative. I'm speaking truth.
Brainy Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 Well for a start its far from the truth. Its apparently your opinion, and its embarrasingly biased. Start of the year I said Alonso is the best driver on the grid, closely followed by Hamilton. Massa was performing well before his crash in Hungary and I look forward to the day you stop fooling yourself and say that he is not what he used to be. You've came out with such shit tonight i'm pretty certain you're doing it to get a reaction. o and btw imo Hamilton is now the best driver on the grid.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 This race was better than the first 7 games of the World Cup!
Wycombe Fox Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Sensational drive from Felipe. Showed why he was the 2008 champion... OK I'll take your Great drive though - started 6th and finished 17th. I agree with you about Schumacher though
isaidno Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 This season is a belter , 5 way fight for the title with some cracking races and battles for the lead. Mclaren should win in Valencia, but I expect Red Bull to bounce back at Silverstone & Hockenheim . Hamilton is the most consistent driver this season , Alonso has made some uncharacterristic errors this season. Really want to see Kubica in a top car , but it's not gonna happen now Webber & Massa have signed new contracts .
Asha Posted 15 June 2010 Author Posted 15 June 2010 Great drive though - started 6th and finished 17th. As I said, he would have won Sunday, or been on the podium at the very least, had it not been for the intervention of certain drivers. Liuzzi fooked him first corner (several times) and then Schumacher pushed him into the wall. Other than that, he was absolutely sublime today - and some of his overtaking was nothing short of breathtaking.

He wouldnt of won, the only good thing he did was have a good start off the grid, which by the looks of Alonso's start, is something to do with the car. Liuzzi wasn't really at fault for the crash either, there was no room. However the iccident with schui was definately Micheal's fault. Not a good drive, and I REALLY doubt he'd have finished on the podium even if he'd of got a clean 1st corner. 4th would have been a push!

He showed blistering pace throughout and looked a real contender (accidents aside). I still believe anyway, as apparently does Fernando Alonso http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8743501.stm
dandannieldanok Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Webber's lost the plot, crap start and what on earth was he doing there.
Narborough_fox Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 WOW, Hoping Webber is alright that was ferocious.
