SOCCERROO FOX Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Webber 5th favourite? Over-rated. Even if he has the car, he doesn't have the skill and is way behind his teammate in terms of quality and overall pace. Once Mercedes come good this season, he'll be way down the pecking order so 5th favourite seems a little too generous to me. Webber over-rated pull ya head in mate.....in fairness I may be biased Hamilton got pulled over by the police for doing a burnout after leaving the track for the day Loved hearing the F1 going around yesterday and I was about 10kms from the track.
Brainy Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Webber's solid. Don't know whats happened to him lately but he's not overrated. That was a bore btw.
Asha Posted 27 March 2010 Author Posted 27 March 2010 At the moment, they should just fook the first qualifying session and start with 18 (8 going out) in the second. It's absolutely guaranteed that the 3 new teams will be seconds off the pace - it's such a waste of 20 minutes. Well played Red Bull, looking good for the race. Reasonably happy with 3rd and 5th for the Ferraris, and obviously quietly pleased with Hamilton failing to make the shootout.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 I know it's completely obvious to say, but the top 4 qualifiers are definitely the stand-out performers from that session. The Red Bulls are quite clearly the fastest car full stop, whereas Alonso and Button were far far faster than their teammates.
isaidno Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 I had a bet yesterday on Massa at 17/2 . I'm hoping the 1st 4 take each other out. Vettel reminds me a lot of Senna , an absolute god in qualifying

Asha Posted 28 March 2010 Author Posted 28 March 2010 Have to concede that was some pretty good tactical decision from Button, and hence deserved the win. Also well done to Kubica, 2nd place in a seemingly uncompetitive Renault was a fantastic result. Ferrari 3-4 is something I'll settle for, as I was pretty sure they were going to be pounced upon by Hamilton. So for that, thanks Mark Webber
sdb Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 i've not seen the result, can someone give me a rating out of 10 for the GP, so i can decide whether to watch it or to not waste another 2 hours of my life. ta x

Brainy Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Ok, so how does one go about explaining the final stages of today's race if he isn't over-rated? Well Barrichello had a similar if not worse race in Melbourne last season and he didn't do so bad.
isaidno Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Fantastic race. We actually had some overtaking . I'm jetting off to the Malaysian GP this evening
fatmando Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Great race. Conditions played a big part I reckon. Lets hope for plenty of showers at future races!
Sparky Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Enjoyed the race this morning, Button was pretty much faultless Ferrari 1 Team Britain 1
sdb Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 very enjoyable. more of the same please although that may require mother nature to get involved again!
dandannieldanok Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Imperious stuff from Button, good decision to come in and managed the tyres superbly, without compromising on raw pace and fast lap times. I reckon had Vettel not suffered brake failure Button still would have been able to win that race. He could have driven all night and still probably got away without having to change tyres, he's streets ahead of every other driver in tyre management.
FoxyPV Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Glad to see Button get the win. Does anyone else have a real antipathy towards Hamilton?
dandannieldanok Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Does anyone else have a real antipathy towards Hamilton? No, but I can see why people do. I've never really liked him that much, and I hope Button comes out top at the end of the season. He hasn't helped himself throughout the few years he's been in formula 1. Like a few other people, I thought his full and frank blaming of the team over strategy was a bit petulant. Mention it by all means, but surely it can do no help to give them a dressing down in the media.
leicesterfox86 Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Hamilton wasn't happy and rightly so. Having said that, he is a muppet.
Asha Posted 3 April 2010 Author Posted 3 April 2010  What a shocker. Both Ferrari's and Hamilton out in Quali 1, with Button just making it but not taking part in Q2. Going to be a crazy race tomorrow. So Button will start 17th, Alonso 19th, Hamilton 20th, and Massa 21st.
isaidno Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 It started raining 5 minutes before the F1, absolutely scorching for the rest of the day . I'm at turn 3/ the exit of the 2nd corner. It's so cheap here. Cost me 3 quid to make the 60km journey from Kuala Lumpur to Sepang
