Wycombe Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Practice 1 at Singapore in about 45 minutes. It's going to be a wet weekend. I'm looking forward to this one and could determine No. 1 drivers at both Red Bull and McLaren for the remainder of the season.
Asha Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 Felipe's blatantly gonna win this, Fernando second.
Asha Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 Yes Fernando, in with a real shout of the title now. Nice to see Hamilton doing his bit to bin his title effort too.
dandannieldanok Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Hamilton did nothing wrong? Hmmm perhaps not, but I don't think it's a coincidence that he seems to keep getting himself in these dangerous situations. With McLaren struggling to match the pace of Ferrari and Red Bull at these high downforce tracks, the last thing they need are drivers not finishing.
Brainy Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Toay was just unlucky, Kubica/Sutil did the exact same thing and didn't touch.
Brainy Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Toay was just unlucky, Kubica/Sutil did the exact same thing and didn't touch. Also worth saying the roles were reversed from what happened between Hamilton and Massa in Monza. Ham/Web collided in pretty much the same way as Ham/Mas, Hamilton was behind in Monza but infront here. Just unlucky but I dont blame him for trying to make a move, I don't have much hope anymore of either McLaren winning because the car simply isnt quick enough
isaidno Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I hate to say this but Alonso's the favorite now for me. The Ferrari is quick everywhere now & Webber and Vettel are likely to take points off of each other. Hamilton's crash was unlucky , 9 times out of 10 he would have got away without damage.
Legend_in_blue Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Shame about qualifying. Hats off to the BBC though for managing to broadcast nothing for two hours but make a decent job of it.
Narborough_fox Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Will be able to catch some of the race as I have a game tomorrow
Legend_in_blue Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Can't say I'll be up at 2am to watch qualifying, should it happen. it doesn't. Then there'll be a Button, Hamilton front row!
StanSP Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Can't say I'll be up at 2am to watch qualifying, should it happen. it doesn't. Then there'll be a Button, Hamilton front row! How? Hamilton's got a 5-place penalty?
sdb Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 has the race happened? (im trying to avoid seeing theresult)
dogadug Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 All I'm going to say is, why did I bother waking up at 7 to watch that, except for the first few laps.
sdb Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 so am i better finding out what happened online, rather than waiting till the re-run?
isaidno Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 This is gonna be a belter when it finally starts. Delayed because of rain. Takes away Reb Bulls advantage.
Asha Posted 24 October 2010 Author Posted 24 October 2010 YES! Forza Ferrari Love the radio edit from Fernando where he's just laughing. Haaaaa. What a comeback since Britain. Favourite now for sure. Solid from Felipe too.
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 I cannot understand all this lovin' for Alonso. The race was great, until Alonso won it. If he ends up winning the championship off the back of that farce earlier on in the season where Ferrari International Aid demanded loose change in punishment then I'll be none to pleased. It will marr what has been a fantastic championship season. I really hope one of the Red Bulls or Lewis rubs his face in it. I can't stand him. Sorry!
sdb Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 yeah i agree. enjoyed that race, got up at half 8 and was still in time to see the whole thing. title race still open, just. hopefully alonso struggles next race and then all's set for a 4 way battle on the last day!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 I hate Alonso with a passion, as well as Ferrari, cheating scum.
Asha Posted 24 October 2010 Author Posted 24 October 2010 I hate Alonso with a passion, as well as Ferrari, cheating scum. Assuming you're another "TEAM GB!" lover, it's not like McLaren have ever cheated is it? No, never. Apart from spygate...liegate... Oh, (not just aimed at you leicester_loyal) and all teams clearly use some form of team orders on a regular basis and have done for many years. Yes Ferrari were completely blatant about it and deserved the fine but the other teams are just as bad. If come the final day Hamilton needed a win for the title but was second with Button in front of him, you'd honestly say you'd rather Button stayed in front and screwed the championship for Hamilton, handing it over to Alonso or something? Purely hypothetical, but thinking anything else and claiming that the Germany fiasco was cheating would be completely hypocritical. But of course it would make sense to do the right thing for the team in such a case - but hey, it's Ferrari so let's everybody jump on the "Ferrari International Assistance" bandwagon bullshit. In hindsight, it was a bloody good decision by Ferrari. Since then Fernando has been awesome, so for the team it was a good call. McLaren would have done the same thing had only one driver been in the title race, as would have Red Bull - and as would have any other team on the grid. And I fooking love Felipe too, so it's not like I'd be unduly biased to Fernando. The only reason the likes of McLaren and Red Bull couldn't have (as easily) done the same is purely because they had both drivers in the championship all along. Probably their downfall too, as Ferrari prioritising Fernando solely has clearly worked wonders.
isaidno Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 Possible scenario after sunday's race. If Hamilton wins, Webber finishes 3rd , and Alonso 8th , they would all be tied on 235 points with one race left The race starts at 4pm on Sunday
