Narborough_fox Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Oh, and in terms of the calendar, 20 races is bordering on ridiculous now. This, I can't see the point in the european Grand Prix at all. 20 is the maximum that I think it could be.
Legend_in_blue Posted 10 September 2010 Posted 10 September 2010 The FIA released the full verdict into the Ferrari team orders and stated that Ferrari viewed the incident as 'team tactics', not team orders, because Massa was never explicitly ordered to let Alonso pass. Team tactics. Jean Todt... He's brilliant.
Brainy Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Agree with NSLL, Ferrari have had quite alot of shit go against them this year, Todt means nothing.
Jimothy Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Behave. Any punishment would have only involved a fine anyway, realistically. Ferrari have shot themselves in the foot doing what they did anyway, 'cause Felipe's motivation clearly plummeted following that. And it's not like McLaren have never used team orders to fix a race result either, Melbourne 1998? Oh, and in terms of the calendar, 20 races is bordering on ridiculous now. It wasn't against the rules back in 1998 though was it.
Collymore Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 I've got a feeling Rosberg will do well this weekend.
isaidno Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Can see Ferrari using their 'team tactics ' tomorrow and getting Massa to back up the field so Alonso can get away
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Can see Ferrari using their 'team tactics ' tomorrow and getting Massa to back up the field so Alonso can get away Yep very possible, hopefully Massa is overtaken by Webber and Hamilton at the start. Or at the very least we can hope that Button stays in front of Massa. Alonso looks completely on it this weekend, as long as he leads after the first couple of corners, he should canter to victory.
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Button's got this one in the bag! If he doesn't make turn 1 in the lead, then he'll take the lead by staying out longest before pitting. Vettel's nailed on to take himself or someone else out on the first lap. Massa will have been told to be Alonso's bitch and back everyone up. You heard it here first! Looking forward to this one.

I personally can't see past Alonso, driving like a dream and looks more pumped and focused than I've ever seen him before.

dandannieldanok Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Yes great start for Button, real shame for Hamilton.
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Classic! Two Ferrari's chasing a Brit in a British car in the Italian Grand Prix. Button's going to have to work hard this afternoon. I want to hear on the radio to Alonso "Felipe is faster than you. Do you understand?"
Mee Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Yes great start for Button, real shame for Hamilton. What happened to Hamilton mate? I missed the first few minutes!
sdb Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 gutted about Hamilton, would've been a very interesting battle between him and the Ferarri's
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 What happened to Hamilton mate? I missed the first few minutes! It looked like he went for a gap that wasn't there and had a steering rod broken by Massa's back wheel. Own fault I think.
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Button's driving a beautiful race. I've got a feeling that there might be a Webber/Vettel incident soon.
Asha Posted 12 September 2010 Author Posted 12 September 2010 And that's why you shouldn't try a ridiculous move on Felipe (baby). Come on Button, move over!
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Have we just witnessed team orders from Red Bull? Vettel's 'engine problem'? Webber gets past, Vettel reports a problem and then suddenly does his fastest sectors?
Asha Posted 12 September 2010 Author Posted 12 September 2010 Yeah, they should get thrown out the championship for that. Disgusting.
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 This race will be won and lost by who stays out the longest. Cracking race by both Button and Alonso.

Asha Posted 12 September 2010 Author Posted 12 September 2010 YEHHH BABY. Back in the race for both titles. Forza Ferrari!
isaidno Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 boring race. 24 points between the top 5 drivers now.
