lildave3 Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Well done Vettel and Red Bull, deserved. Obviously would have preferred it to be Mclaren and Hamilton but still, at least it's not Ferrari.
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 Fair play to Vettel and Red Bull. Easily the best driver and car of the season, and deserved it - and would have won a lot more easily if he didn't keep binning it into people Ferrari should have been out of both championships weeks ago, to come back from that far behind was outrageous. A silly strategy error cost Ferrari in this race alone but next season is the year! I just hope Felipe is more competitive this year.
sdb Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Well done Vettel and Red Bull, deserved. Obviously would have preferred it to be Mclaren and Hamilton but still, at least it's not Ferrari. exactly my thoughts
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 McLaren should be ashamed, quite frankly. Two world champions in their ranks, and still completely out of contention with a race to go?
MC Prussian Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Well done to Vettel. Took him by complete surprise, obviously Alonso could've spoilt it for him on the last lap. Very good win that and a good advert for F1 overall. Sobbing Sebastian on the team radio... Completely overwhelmed. Oh so human. Hero.
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 Alonso getting angry with Petrov Yeah, course that's wrong but just remember he's in the emotion of losing a world championship. Like anyone in his position would be smiling all the way to the finish line thinking 'jolly good show chaps'.
ScouseFox Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Yeah, course that's wrong but just remember he's in the emotion of losing a world championship. Like anyone in his position would be smiling all the way to the finish line thinking 'jolly good show chaps'. Oh I know he'll be down, but almost trying to pass the blame onto Petrov for not moving out the way was a bit of a joke. He needed to prove he was the best driver in the world, which if he was, he would've been able to pass Petrov. Fair play to him for mounting a challenge when he was miles off around half way through the season, but he just fell short.
Brainy Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Yeah, course that's wrong but just remember he's in the emotion of losing a world championship. Like anyone in his position would be smiling all the way to the finish line thinking 'jolly good show chaps'. But he's a double world champion!! Not being able to keep his cool let alone pass an error prone rookie he should be completely ashamed. at Forza Ferrari McLaren should be ashamed, quite frankly. Two world champions in their ranks, and still completely out of contention with a race to go? btw, shit trolling.
sdb Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 McLaren should be ashamed, quite frankly. Two world champions in their ranks, and still completely out of contention with a race to go? 2nd in Constructors is better than 3rd
isaidno Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Vettel deserves the title . 10 poles , robbed of wins in Bahrain , Australia & Korea. If he hadn't of crashed as much he could have won by over 100 points. Alonso's reaction to Petrov was pathetic .
Finnegan Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 AHAHAHAHAHAHAH Fernando Alonso. EGG. ON. YOUR. FACE. So predictable when he claimed he was a 100% cert.
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 AHAHAHAHAHAHAH Fernando Alonso. EGG. ON. YOUR. FACE. So predictable when he claimed he was a 100% cert. Which he claimed when he was 46 points behind and with an uncompetitive car. To even be in with a shout at the last race was incredible, and more than can be said for Button or Hamilton, who had a faster car for much of the season.
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 And to be fair, you lot are all ridiculously biased. If Button had given that reaction to someone, you'd have all been "Oh Button, he's just emotional, we love Button, Team GB, GSOGQ! Super Jenson! Not taking shit from nobody lol"
AoWW Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Missed this today but heard the result. How did Ferrari screw up... what did they do / not do?
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 2nd in Constructors is better than 3rd Of course, but with the drivers you've had that should have been unthinkable. I love him to bits bless him, but Felipe is fast becoming a liability. Hopefully he can sort out his problems for next season and try and mount his own challenge. Being cheated out of it in 2008 has clearly taken its' toll.
StanSP Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 But he's a double world champion!! Not being able to keep his cool let alone pass an error prone rookie he should be completely ashamed. at Forza Ferrari So? You'd still be gutted about missing out on your third world championship by just four points. If Brazil missed out on their 6th world cup, do you think they'd be happy just because they have won 5 previously? Shit analogy, I know, but same principles.
Finnegan Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 How am I in any way biased? I'm all about Kamui Kobayashi!! I couldn't give a toss about any of the big drivers, I just find it hilarious that the arrogant twat came out with some gibberish about being 100% sure of winning and not losing a moment's thought about what Red Bull would do in the race like the week before a Championship decider... and then he fucks it up. Famous last words!
Asha Posted 14 November 2010 Author Posted 14 November 2010 I'd rather every sports person was a little bit controversial rather than all the 'well-spoken textbook response' chaps that are all too common.
Tommeh Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 really glad Alonso and Ferrari didn't win anything and to see them coming so close and screwing it up was nice too. Loved the wave of emotion on Vettel's face and voice as soon as he'd won to the end.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 What an anti-climax. 1st race of the season booooooring, last race possibly just as much so. We really need to get rid of these tracks that are too difficult to overtake on (astonishingly of course this track was designed for the purpose of F1) Didn't realise Vettel was so young though! Seems like he's been around for years!
Brainy Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 And to be fair, you lot are all ridiculously biased. If Button had given that reaction to someone, you'd have all been "Oh Button, he's just emotional, we love Button, Team GB, GSOGQ! Super Jenson! Not taking shit from nobody lol" The team GB nonsense is a bit tiresome now, especially from someone who said he's been a fan of Ferrari because you liked the colour red, or some bollocks story like that. Of course, but with the drivers you've had that should have been unthinkable. I love him to bits bless him, but Felipe is fast becoming a liability. Hopefully he can sort out his problems for next season and try and mount his own challenge. Being cheated out of it in 2008 has clearly taken its' toll. LOL explain how he was cheated out of it? Team GB has a total of two WDC's and so does Ferrari (Alonso x2) so whats your problem? For supposedly being the best team in F1 your mob should be ashamed that you couldn't build a car that could win races all throughout the season. So? You'd still be gutted about missing out on your third world championship by just four points. If Brazil missed out on their 6th world cup, do you think they'd be happy just because they have won 5 previously? Shit analogy, I know, but same principles. I was taking the piss, though that doesnt go to say i dont think Alonso was a cock for it. I'd say the same thing if it was Lewis too, i called him a cock after the incident with Massa yesterday SHOCK HORROR
