lou Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 Only time will tell if Maxi goes on to be a loss. I dont usually agree with Thrac but I must admit that there is something about Maxi that makes me think in a couple of years he will be very good. Maybe the mistake NP made was sending him to a big club for his experience as from that moment the fans fell for him and Im sure his mind was made up. I hope he realises how unforgiving the Leeds fans are when he has a bad run too!
Fosse Boy Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Apparently Nobby has just been spotted purchasing cider in Harborough Sainsburys!

Shrenchel Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 "I've not seen you round here before." You were trying to get in his pants right?!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 "I've not seen you round here before." You were trying to get in his pants right?! Just abit. Should of said, "Meet me by the humpback bridge at 9, I'll get you to play the post horn gallop on my trumpet."
Steven Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Just abit. Should of said, "Meet me by the humpback bridge at 9, I'll get you to play the post horn gallop on my trumpet." You seem to have that down pat.
Thracian Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Why? We have N'guessan, who in half of the time Gradel's been here has scored more goals, is quicker, stronger and much more of a threat. I've told you why lots of times. N'Guessan isn't really a winger but a striker who will score goals but not create much. Gradel is a genuine winger who can move inside and score but will mostly make goals and offer the movement needed to advance attacks. Not that the argument is of any consequence any longer. Gradel has gone whatever the reasons and, with Adams returning plus the availability of N'Guessan, Dyer and the versatile Gallagher I'm quite happy with what we've got instead because those four certainly beat what we've had in the past. I shall watch Gradel's career with interest as I do other ex-City players but tomorrow's another day and Saturday's game offered technicolour evidence that we are perfectly capable of playing proper football without Gradel.
