Can't see why it'd be a scandal?

If he wasn't having affairs in Peru - now that would be something to set tongues wagging.

Scandal? Potential conspiracy?

Sounds like a job for...Radovan's Caravan

Quite happy with this, As I said in the other thread, even if he's lost his pace, The set pieces are skills - You can lose pace with age, but skill tend to stick with you, you don't lose it.

He's been playing so it's not like he's come out of retirement, and he'll add experience, advice and be a role model in the dressing room.

My worry is he's on a big wage, but it's not a major problem.

Ever played the Jeremy Kyle drinking game? Epic is the word that comes to mind.

did Colchester not offer him a contract ,

or did we snatch him from under their noses ?

Seems like he turned it down in the hope that he'd get offered one at Newcastle if he trained with them for a bit.

Solano used to be one of my favourite players, he's done some literally amazing stuff in the Premier League. It is quite a buzz having him at Leicester, I just hope he can still play!

Hopefully he can say this to us all in a few weeks :

I read they couldn't agree terms, I'm guessing a little out of their price range.

Never understood why people get so grouchy about signings like this.

He'll bring a bit of experience, he'll cost relatively fuck all, we aren't paying him for 3 years, we don't have mass millions, he'll offer some extra options for the remainder of the season.

A season in which, people apparently need to be reminded, we're massively over-performing by expectations. Christ.

Hear, hear!

ah , yes , that must be it .

i was dreading finding out that Boothroyd had considered he wasn't up to it

it's no good though , i've tried but i can't even get the slightest bit excited about this :(

Reminds me a bit of the Mancini episode. Big hoo-ha over not much.

Saying that, he will do alright for us but that's about it. Probably needs a wage for alimony. :giggle:

A bit gutted about Gradel. I don't think he was given enough games in the championship to REALLY show what he's got, but he'd obviously be happier at Leeds so f**k him.
