Matt Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Quite happy with this, As I said in the other thread, even if he's lost his pace, The set pieces are skills - You can lose pace with age, but skill tend to stick with you, you don't lose it. He's been playing so it's not like he's come out of retirement, and he'll add experience, advice and be a role model in the dressing room. My worry is he's on a big wage, but it's not a major problem.

A season in which, people apparently need to be reminded, we're massively over-performing by expectations. Christ. Hear, hear!

Probably needs a wage for alimony. A bit gutted about Gradel. I don't think he was given enough games in the championship to REALLY show what he's got, but he'd obviously be happier at Leeds so f**k him.
