maddog Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Weale 8 Morrison 9 Hobbs 7 Brown 7 Berner 6- Casual twat with his challenge, then they crossed in and scored. Complacent there Bruno when had it been 0-0 he would have took that man out like the Newcastle player he crunched on a booking. Gallagher 10- Class. Wellens 4- Fooking woeful, nearly every pass of his useless, had a great beginning to the season but now he's turning into a donkey. King 7 Oakley 5- Absolutely delighted when he was subed, and will be absolutely delighted when this shit bastard on his last payday leaves the club. Waghorn 8- Wish he was our player. Dyer 7 Subs: Nobby 8- Looks class on the ball. Kermo 8- So much better than Howard ever was and ever will be. N'Guessan 6
martyn Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Wellens 4?????? He was much much improved today. Weale 7 Morrison 8 Hobbs 8 Brown 7.5 Berner 7 King 8 Wellens 8 Gallagher 10 Oakley 7 Dyer 7 Waghorn 8.5 Subs: Kermorgant 7.5 (loved seeing him leap like a salmon to constantly defeat that 6ft 7 giraffe) Solano 7 (so calm on the ball) DnG NA
acooling08 Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Weale - 8 - Saved a 1 on 1 and a free header from a corner to keep them at nil early on. Berner - 7 - Quiet but assured. For once he wasn't playing as winger with Dyer supporting him! Hobbs - 7 - Solid, especially in the air. Morrison - 8 - Very commanding, nice finish for his goal. Brown - 7 - Solid but awful distribution Dyer - 9 - Lord Dyer. So quick and very threatening down the wing. Oakley - 7 - He wasn't bad, although he wasn't too good either. Wellens - 8 - Why are people slating him? I mean YOU Maddog King - 7 - Faded in and out, but was good on the ball and preventing Scunny from breaking from the mid. Waghorn - 9 - Led the line brilliantly, great goal, great free kick. Only bad thing is that he strays offside too much. Gallagher - 10 - Hattrick. Brilliant as a striker but on the wing he was quiet (Why put him there Pearson?) Clinical and made some very good passes. Subs: Solano - 8 - Confident on the ball, still has that touch and passing ability. N'Guessan - N/A - Was only on for 5 minutes. Kermo - 8 - Needed the confidence to bury that ball from Waggy. He is so immense at jumping and flick-ons!

dogadug Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Weale 7 - Nothing too much to do. Berner 7 - Solid, and got forward well Hobbs 6.5 - Won most headers, but was caught out a few times. Brown 7.5 - The usual poor distribution, but made up for that by winning virtually every header, and not letting anything past him. Morrison 8.5 - Brilliant header for his goal, 3 in 2 games against S****horpe now, and an all round good defensive display Oakley 7.5 - Very few misplaced passes, kept possession well, and won lots of loose balls. King 8 - Won virtually everything in midfield, with some great passes Wellens 7.5 - Also won virtually everything in midfield, but misplaced some passes Dyer 8 - Constantly found gaps in S****horpe's defence, and caused all sorts of problems for them Waghorn 8.5 - Worked tirelessly in attack, chasing down everything, and holding the ball up expertly. Got his well deserved goal Gallagher 10 - Outstanding performance, what more can I say Subs: Kermorgant 7 - Won almost every header and created some nice chances Solano 7 - Good passing, kept up with the speed of the game well, and almost even scored!

ousefox Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Weale 8 Didn't have much to do but great save from that header and from the one on one in the first few mins. Morrison 8 Making this position his own. You would never have known he was in BSP 2 years ago. Hobbs 7 Solid Brown 7 Solid enough but shocking distribution throughout the game. Berner 7 Good apart from his mistake for their goal. King 8 Did everything that was needed of him. Wellens 7 Showed more of what we saw earlier in the season. Gallagher 10 Simply superb. Did everything right apart from that 30 yard open goal miss. Oakley 7 This formation definately suits him. Dyer 7 Decent but could have ran at his defender more often. Waghorn 8.5 Great today and did well muscling defenders out the way and took his goal well. Subs: Kermorgant 7 Did well. Solano 7 Calm influence when he came on after they scored. Unlucky not to score from long range.
Billy_Velvetone Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Weale - 8 - First keeper that I've felt assured with in goal since Tim Flowers and that included Fulup. Quality Keeper, Pearsons best signing IMHO. Berner - 7 - Disappointed with his 'last ditch tackle' for their goal but it's picking bones. Solid performance. Please don't get injured again, I HATE Mcgivern. Hobbs - 7 - Solid, good in most areas. Has so much potential, hopefully this time next season nobody will be able to score against Hobbs and the Tunch. Morrison - 8 - Keeps getting better and better, good on the ball now and such a threat in the opposition box. Well played young man. Brown - 7 - Typical brown. 8 for defending, 6 for distribution = 7. Dyer - 9 - Lord Dyer oh Lloyd, Lloyd Dyer! Such a threat in the first half, best performance by him this season. More of the same please. Oakley - 7 - Nice to see him in centre mid again, although only nice. Needs to be an influential captain again. Has got better lately though. Wellens - 7 - Only starts playing when we are playing well. To be fair though, when we are good so his he. King - 8 - Played really well today. Broke up attacks and started our's. Pearson should give more of an attacking role, make use of his shooting ability. Gallagher - 9 - Great hattrick, they couldn't handle him and on that form who could. I'm gonna be raving about his third for a long while. Waghorn - 9 - A championship cross between Rooney and Bellamy. Pearson sign him up. Subs: Solano - 7 Calming influence when unbelievably we needed while 4-1 up. N'Guessan - N/A - Was only on for 5 minutes. Kermo - 8 - So good in the air, next season he will be quality,

Corky Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Weale- 8 (Two vital saves) Morrison- 8 (Another goal and all-round good display) Hobbs- 8 (Gave the attackers very little) Brown- 7 (Another strong outing) Berner- 7 (Got forward well) Oakley- 7.5 (Much better, drove forward well) King- 8 (Keeps it simple and stopped them threatening too much) Wellens- 8 (Good performance, lovely ball for Gallagher's third) Dyer- 8 (His pace troubled them) Waghorn- 8.5 (Great free-kick for the opener, lead the line superbly) Gallagher- 9 (Fantastic, not just for his goals but his inventiveness and influence on the game) Subs- Kermo- 7 (Won his headers and lifted the team who had become casual) Solano- 7 (Guy shows class and composure on the ball) N'Guessan- 6 (Wasn't on long, two or three stepovers and that's about it)
Cobbo Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Weale - 8 Morrison - 7 Hobbs - 8 Brown - 8 Berner - 6 (missed tackle leading to goal - even Scow criticised him ) Wellens - 8 - kept things ticking over nicely today. Less attempts at ridiculous passes. King - 8 - See above, ignoring the ridiculous passes part Gallagher - 9 - lovely hat trick (with a touch of fortune for the first..) Oakley - 8 - license to get forward and supported Waghorn well. Dyer - 8 - his pace is always vital at home I feel. Fella behind me isn't a big fan though. Although I have a feeling this is more to do with the colour of his skin.. Waghorn - 9.5 - thought he was bloody brilliant yesterday. Work rate, touch, strength and desire. Subs: Kermogant - 7 - Great aerial prowess, passing and movement looking good too. Solano - 7 - technically fabulous, gave us further calmness on the ball assisting us to keep possession in the last 30 mins. N'Guessan - NA
Bert Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Weale 7.5 (Acrobatic save to turn over one goalbound effort early on. Otherwise never overworked but, distribution apart, spot on with everything). Morrison 7.5 (Almost gifted them a goal early on but confirmed he's our most dangerous defender when attacking with another goal. Steady general contribution without ever being severely questioned). Hobbs 7 (Dealt quite comfortably snuffing out Scunny's limited attacks) Brown 6.5 (Defensively uncompromising but oh dear, his distribution was painful to witness and didn'tget better as the game wore on. Whether it would help if Pearson banned him from hitting any ball more than 10 yards, apart from emergencies, of course, I don't know). Berner 6.5 (Steadily competent for the most part). Oakley 6.5 (Even in a marvellous team performance I thought he lacked commitment at times and his touch was off. Even so he helped offer the passing options for King and Wellens that were so important in helping our flow and thatflow was as smooth as I've seen for a long time in the first half) King 8 (So involved and so influential. Outstanding moment was his pass to Waghorn which led to Morrison's goal but he just instigated so much of what we did and destroyed so much of what they did. Even when he made a mistake he was quick to recover the situation. Won countless headers as a bonus and always seemed to find himself a comfortable but quick passin g option). Wellens 7.75 (This guy will always try things that don't come off but he was so involved today, doing so many good things, that his errors didn't really matter.) Dyer 7.75 (The pace and width he and Waghorn provided were vital to our achievements. One assist and unlucky not to getmore reward for his snap shots and early crosses into the box. Then finally robbed of a brilliant goalscoring chance when his embryo run from the halfway line was pettily aborted by the referee) Waghorn 8 (Much deserved and an attacking catayst for so much of our good work. Never gave the Scunny defence a moment's peace). Gallagher 10 (Guiding home that 35-yard open goal would have given him as near a perfect performance as would make no difference but a hat-trick and assist was contribution enough for a 10 rating. Involved in so much that happened in our attacking half. Inch perfect free kick for his opening goal, on-target piledriver deflected for his second and the cleverest of headers for goal number three...he had a hat-trick to remember and how he seemed to love it). Subs: Solano 7 (His class stoood out even in this cameo, esxpecially his example in showing how to retain possession with quick, simple but constructive passes and how to see the widest pictures and deliver the unexpected. Encouraging.). Kermorgant 7(Won some great headers aswe'vecome to expect even from his limited appearances and contributed a decent pass ortwo as well. But so often he's too far from goal to be really effective. Played a worthwhile part though). N'Guessan (na) You really are having a laugh. He was the least involved midfielder. Weale 7 Morrison 7 Hobbs 7 Brown 6 Berner 6 Oakley 7 Wellens 8 King 7 Dyer 7 Waghorn 8 Gallagher 9 Solano 7 Yann 7

marbelladave Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Don't often get involved with this, football is a team game after all, but I could not let Saturday's performance go without comment. Weale 7 Couple of good saves early on followed by a pretty quiet afternoon. His distribution remains poor, still needs to be banned from hitting long clearances, particularly when he has the ball in hand or is not under pressure. Morrison 8 Slowish start but pretty solid thereafter. Cracking goal and some decent support play down the right. Hobbs 6.5 Despite having little to do he managed to look a bit unsure, indecisive for their goal a long way from his best. Brown 7 Switched off for their goal, did not cover Berner at all, otherwise largely untroubled. Berner 6.5 Got up and down his flank well and generally looked his usual reliable self, until that most lazy of sliding tackles that is! Had every right to expect some cover from his team mates. Oakley 6.5 Very effective generally but his fragility and lack of commitment in the tackle is becoming more obvious game by game. Might be time for a rest. King 8 Pretty much his usual self, only better. The 3 man midfield allows him to get forward more often than was the case earlier in the season when he had a lot of defensive responsibilities, as of now he is becoming a very effective box to box player. Wellens 7.5 Much better than of late, very industrious as usual and gave the ball away less often than usual. Still needs to be more selective with his forward passing. Gallagher 9 Playing a free role when we had possession and tucking in on the right when we didn't, very good indeed. Good goals but still failed to make anything of half chances in and around the 6 yd box. Waghorn 8.5 Lead the line with gusto, deserved his goal even if it came giftwrapped. Still think I prefer him on the right, but that is just my opinion and anyway he did a fair anount out wide when Gallagher came into the middle. Dyer 8 Fantastic first hour, showed just how dangerous he can be when fed the ball in forward positions. Solano 7 Cool and composed at right back plus a couple of decent balls into the box. Kermogant 7.5 Looked very good in everything he did except when presented with a very decent chance, really needs a goal to settle him down. Attitude 9 Very important this, kept going forward, apart from 10 mins or so early in the second half, and won the game with ease. Would have been a 10 had it not been for some sloppy defending for their goal.
