surrifox Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 looking forward to this one. Home Park is a proper footy day out!
hemelfox Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 I don't get to go to many Leicester away games but as I am on half-term holiday down in Devon we are staying on an extra night and going to the game. I have to say the weather has been very poor and can imagine that the pitch will be in very poor condition. Am hoping to see a few goals (all for Leicester of course). Come on City!

The pitch is effectively a muddy field. From a Plymouth fan "good luck trying to play football on that".
s2000 Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 We might have 2 games in hand but they are going to be hard to win Doncaster I think we can get atleast a point but we might not be able to get any at cardiff thats why we need to beat teams like this.
Corky Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 Was contented with a point at Bristol City, really need to be winning against Plymouth. 1-0 win, King.

Salieri Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 Anyone getting here early & going to a pub before the game? if so where have you decided to go? I'll be in Plymouth around midday so was wondering the same thing.
Tilley Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 Really do think we'll lose. If we win here then I'd take a point at Donny though, 5 points from 3 away games wouldn't be bad. I'd drop Gallagher for this one and bring N'Guessan in. Away from home we will probably be playing on the counter like at Blackpool and I think we would benefit from the pace of Dany and Dyer.
Plymouth Pete Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Think you are in for three points, Argyle are diabolical. The signing of Damien Johnson from Birmingham has strengthened our midfield, but we cannot score goals, had a twice taken penalty against Swansea and even then the aformentioned Johnson only managed to scramble in the rebound for a lucky draw. 1 - 0 to the Foxes. I am already planning visits to Rochdale and Hartlepool next season.
The Doctor Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 i reckon we could destroy them - we've played well enough in the past two games to suggest that it's possible and plymouth are v.poor in defence. 6-0 city.
easilee Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 1-0Brown bullet header from 20 yards out. Do you try to scoop the moon out of puddles?
maddog Posted 20 February 2010 Author Posted 20 February 2010 Have a very bad feeling that the 80% ish who say win will be wrong including me

Bluemoon Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 I haven't been on here for a while. Looks like your rest in L1 has done you some good ... well done. It's crisp and clear down here, a beautiful day. Can't say the same about the pitch ... it's like a farmyard. Our new owners are digging it up at the end of the season, and it looks like they've started already. Tuesday against Swansea was abysmal and we were lucky to get a point. Both managers seem to be saying it's going to be the long ball approach .... hmmmm ... can't wait. We need a win desperately but are finding it hard to change our tactics from the bad old days of Sturrock although we are improving slowly under Mariner..... we should be pretty good by the time we hit L1. Tip of the Day: If you want a decent pasty .... buy them outside the ground ... inside they are expensive and rather ghastly.
