When I paste the image link in to the picture icon drop box, it simply comes out in the post as a link not an image.... can a mac user tell me what to do exactly please! I can't post my desktop though have an image of it and a link to a dropbox account. 2. I wanted to stick an image in the photo profile. Every time I upload a picture it tells me it is too big and the scale down thing does not appear to be working... I have tried simple images but everything is too big from album covers to photos from my iphoto.... any suggestions? Thanks, N.

Lob it into Photobucket as you can then copy paste easy links. You can rescale images using Photobucket too - or using whatever image software you have. I was recommended Pixelmator the other week and it was good enough to make me pay for a licence.

I have no idea what photobucket is or a dropbox account? Can someone pls tell me in very simple technophobe terms how the feck I post pics on here now its changed. Webbo Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Photobucket is a free to join site where you can store photos. Once you've joined you can get a link code of any photo you've uploaded so that you can post pictures on here

Always used to use the insert image icon but now it just gives me a red cross in a white square?! I use tinypic, you don't have to join, you just go on their website and then click browse. Then find your picture (on your desktop or wherever) and when you've done that click the big green 'upload' button. Then after a few seconds it will appear (don't bother pressing 'click here to see image' just wait. When it appears there will be 4 yellow lines with writing in them and you need to copy the 2nd line and paste it in the 'Insert Image' thing on FT. (will look like this : http://i40.tinypic.com/nnmnnk.jpg[/img). But always remove the first and last that appear on FT reply box before you post. Only need one at each end. I might of made it sound more complicated than it is
