FoxyPV Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 I've just finished a packet of Maryland Choc Chip cookies and wondered what everyone's favourite biscuits are. I'm torn between the above, Gold Bars, Toffeepops and dark chocolate Hobnobs.
Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 McVities (Or however you spell it) Chocolate Biscuits, they're just so....tasssttyyyyy
FoxyPV Posted 1 April 2010 Author Posted 1 April 2010 See the Biscuit Wars for FT's opinions on biscuits Whoops! Searched "biscuit" but got about 15m repsonses
FoxyPV Posted 1 April 2010 Author Posted 1 April 2010 Custard creams i can eat a whole packet in minutes. Bugger i forgot about custard creams. They vary too much from brand to brand to be included in my favourites list (something all biscuits aspire to be on )
Guest Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 See the Biscuit Wars for FT's opinions on biscuits Exactly, a crowning moment in FT history. Whoops! Searched "biscuit" but got about 15m repsonses Tick the option to search titles only; that eliminates a lot of crap.
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Maryland cookies are different class. Bourbons are also pretty nifty.
AoWW Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Those new extra chunky Maryland cookies are sublime. Can't remember exactly what they're called but I'm sure you get the gist.
Tommeh Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Maryland DOUBLE chocolate chips are the royallty. Custard Creams and Bourbons are the people biscuits, 38p from Sainsburys, both contribute majorly to my uni life.
samjohnson Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Chocolate hobnobs... wipes every biscuit off of this earth!
orangecity23 Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Got a combo of bourbons and choc chip marylands on the go in my biscuit tin at the moment. Tasty. Got to give a shout out to the Chocolate coated malted milk though. Genius way to improve an already good biscuit. These are the shizzle though:
AmericanScott Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 I don't see the obsession with Maryland cookies. They're horrible
Guest Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 I don't see the obsession with Maryland cookies. They're horrible I quite agree.
FoxyPV Posted 2 April 2010 Author Posted 2 April 2010 Maryland cookies are different class. I don't see the obsession with Maryland cookies. They're horrible I quite agree. Mark's and Spencer's used to do their own brand chocolate chip cookies and they were the nicest cookies I've ever tasted - far superior to Maryland but i don't know if you can get them any more.
jonthefox Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Not technically a biscuit, but why dont they make toffee wagon wheels any more.
BoneDog Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Those original Maryland Cookies in the red packet are horrible. The ones in the shiny blue packet and the dark brown packet are flippin lovely though. Coconut and Double Choc Chip I think they are. And I love a Garibaldi or twenty. And for dunkers it's got to be McVities Dark Chocolate Digestives in Coffee and McVities Rich Tea in Tea, maybe a McV's GingerNut in tea second choice. The milk chocolate digestives are just bang out of order. No neeeeeeeeeed
