AoWW Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 I'm unsure, the discrepancy arose when the forum re-design thingy happened, I believe. With mine, the post count under my avatar is the one that reflect my post count before the change (well, with more posts since then, but you get what I mean) and the one in my profile suddenly jumped higher. Maybe that one still includes deleted/binned posts or summat?

The post count on your profile page does not include deleted posts and is hence lower than the one(s) shown in threads And I can but assume this small discrepancy (in my case about 24 posts) stems from the recent switch in layouts.

But the post count shown in my member profile is HIGHER than the one shown under my avatar (I assume that's what you mean by 'shown in threads'?). So how does that figure, then?!

Besides, I normally only screw with Members' posts. Occasionally. Although, having said that, my last intervention already dates quite a while back....

None of the posts indicate that people are particularly fussed about what their post-count is (unless it was said in jest) - they're simply querying the anomaly. You really need to get over yourself.
