Fifty per cent of what B.N.P. say is bollocks. The other fifty per cent is the truth.

Political correctness is a cancer, that is ever growing in our country, and immigration is a massive issue, that has failed to have been tackled.

There is far too much complacency in this countr. both at Government level, and citizen level.

I can well understand the older generation backing B.N.P., hoping to bring back some values of decency into this country, that have been eroded away.

I shall not be voting B.N.P., but I can see where they are coming from, and they do speak some sense.

There's a difference between identifying immigration as a key issue and being downright racist.

Immigration may be be a problem - I don't think it is, but the BNP talk complete bollocks from start to finish and this 'golden age' that the older generation claim existed, never did. It's an attempt to hark back to some era when everyone helped each other and no one got killed - bollocks.

All the things people complain about have always existed but due to 24/7 media reporting everything gets reported whereas beforehand it may have been glossed over.

I have to disagree with you here.

Everybody but Labour agrees that they've mishandled immigration disastrously. It's skyrocketed, and the shouting down of anybody who points out that immigration is a mess under Labour as a racist for years has alienated people. The press make far too much of it, and stoke the fires as much as they can, but this government has made a pig's ear of immigration since 1997.

Part of the responsibility why some in this country have turned to this nasty, ugly party must be accepted by the government.

I'm just commenting on what I see. Immigration in NI is a good thing if only for diversifying the population.

You should have been around in the fifteen years after the war.

People were real, could hold a conversation, be a pleasure to know, did without the comforts of today, and worked bloody hard.

Not full of work shy, lazy, bumptious little parasites we have today, who want everything for nothing. and who can't survive without cars or electronic entertainment. Most wouldn't know how to read a non fiction book.

Dangerous Turd and others must love the BNP's latest policy to ban Muslim Immigration,.......how constructive and wise Mr Griffin!!appl.gif

Tut tut Dr. The Singh, you obviously have a blinkered mind.

The slightest criticism of ethnics, in your little world, appears to be always racist. That, sadly, seems to be the way of the world.

Inverted racism is what I call it, which is like the yapping of a sick dog. Sick dogs should either be helped to become healthy, or else, put down.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Did everything appear in sepia tones as well? I find it extremely hard to believe this idealised version of things. All that has occurred now occurred then.

They had the comforts of their day what ever they may have been so you can't compare cross-generational comforts. Anyway the greatest comfort that all generations have is still in great use - alcohol.

Cars unfortunately have become a necessity due to rising house prices, shifting workplaces and general commuting. It is one of the side effects of becoming a post industrial nation. Workplaces are no longer located at the end of the street but then again housing and living standards have generally improved from then too.

desire for everything - sounds like capitalist indoctrination - the constant need to consume.

Allegations of the youth being workshy and lazy have abounded since time immemorial so I'll take that with pinch of salt.

I remember being warned about these guys when I used to go to the Youth Club in the 50s/60s

teds1962.jpg

There was even a rhyme about them something like:

I'm sitting on the corner swinging my chain

Along came a copper and asked me my name

He put his hands on my gabardine coat

I took out my razor and slit his throat

Teddy Boy boogie

Didn't seem to safe to me at the time.

The problem with the BNP is that they are very slick PR wise as a far right party. The only people presented to the media are either 'moderates', people with Media Relations training, or people told exactly what to say under the threat of the sort of strict party discipline that only far right and communist parties have. This gives them a veneer of respectability with the public, as they see the BNP being 'moderate' and think they are talking 'sense', or at least '50% sense' etc.

When you actually have the pleasure of meeting the ****wits, Nazis and benefit scroungers that actually run the party locally, the people who are put up for seats on local councils and as MPS you realise what cvnts they really are. For example- went to an anti-BNP demonstration last year and they were goose stepping around doing the Deutschgruber.

Another example- their local parliamentary candidate around here openly calls black people niggers and jungle bunnies, and thinks that anyone who is not white can not be British(his own words). Although bizarrely enough he does not oppose white migration as his mother was Polish (oh the irony).

This is the real BNP, and the part are smart enough not to actually put these people in the public eye. If they were in the public eye, I suspect their support would plummet.

That's what I was thinking......Mod's and Rocker meetings every Easter were always venues of intellectual banter.

Thanks to all those who weighed in to support my earlier statement.

Of course 10s, if not 100s of 100s of ethnic peoples have lost their lives fighting for eith Britain or the empire. Some people are just thick and there for easily influenced by the BNP.

I wonder if anyone knows what BNP policy is on anything except immigration? I wonder if even they know.
