I agree

i'm not much of a fan of the English flag

but we are in england and if people want to wave a flag then fair play

just dont droop them around

i hate that

EDIT: Agree with AFIE Union Jacks would look better

and proper 70's!

I agree, my England flag is flying high in my window, but i wouldn't take it to a City game. As somebody said previously, we have our own colours, i can just imagine a sea of blue flags

On the other hand, if anybody wants to go and get one purely for the world cup, its worth it

Not a fan of the Union Jack - too many associations with it over here.

Union Jack, would look quality I can only think of one team who uses them in Britain. Surely in England we could get the trend going.

Pre-Euro 96 they were always present at England games. Technically it's not the English flag but it looks 100x better than a St. George.

Don't reckon I'd want to see loads of 'em at Leicester games though, people might think we were Rangers or summat.

As I say though, we have our own colours, let's use them.

I'm only 13 and I'm Scottish how was I meant to know they were used as ENGLAND in Euro '96, one year before I was born.

A few would look good though not loads but one or two.

TBH I dont know how one or two would look good?, every teams got them the whole point for me is to be different and unique to our club, a st george style flag in the leicester colours would look better, if you had to have a st george flag that is.

If we had them it would look a lot better than the 'normal' ones.

Exactly the reason why I bought this one as opposed to the 'normal' one. This is a little more unique and unseen at football matches.

I said it on the facebook page and say it on here

anyone who brings ones of those horns will get it shoved up their arse.

Oops having read the comments about the England flags it may be that mine will be unpopular. I have bought a couple and customised them. Hopefully you will all like what's on them.

bring what you like mate as long as its good for you and its not offensive like a swasticker :crylaugh: I can't see the issue  they'll be people who say don't do this and don't do that and won't even turn up to the sunderland game :dunno:

I'm loving the blue union jack looks cool :scarf:

I think the thing with St. Georges/Union Jacks is they're just not very creative (the all blue Jack does look good though). As an Ultras section you want to stand out from the crowd with unique flags and banners which represent your club and its culture.

Seen plenty of ultra groups accross Europe which incorporate their country's/region's colours into their flags and whatnot. Think you boys are in danger of trying too hard to be continental and in doing so forgetting that many ultra groups are viciously proud of the traditions of their country and their club.
