C-man Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Cheers. You planning any flagwork yourself? I know you've got some experience in this field... Going away tomorrow, but I'm hoping to get another done in the week before Sunderland once I've got some free time. Not sure what stencil to use though... there a good few ideas on the facebook page!

Can't remember the name of the guy on here but if you find an image you like he'll do it in stencil form for you.

LCFC-ARAB Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 Made this flag about an hour ago just before i started work tis only a small one one of the kids can hold it maybe!
Ozwin Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 I'm working on my Sousa template now, doing a practice one on paper first and it's looking pretty damn good if I say so myself. Will get pics up when I've finished later. Then it's onto the real thing!
Jodranadinho Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 ive only just noticed this topic and i have to say its a great idea and one i hope that everyone will join in with. Since the move from Filbert st the atmosphere has been muted at the Walkers except for the few areas (L, K etc...). now with everyone pulling together and actually deciding to do something about it has really made me excited for the game against sunderland. the walkers wont know whats hit it: flags, scarves, banners, THE LOT! :scarf:

Ozwin Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 As sexy as Sousa's hair is it's an absolute bastard to cut out! Still working on it like 2 hours later.
Ozwin Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 Stencil well and truely cut out. Just need to get some material and proper paint and get on with the real thing. I only had red paint available Thinking of something like 'In Sousa we trust' in Portugese or something for the actual flag or I might just keep it blank, will see how it goes.
Fosse Boy Posted 16 July 2010 Author Posted 16 July 2010 Immense effort. What writing you gonna have on the actual 2 stick?
Ozwin Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 Cheers lads. Not too sure about the text just yet. Like I say I'm thinking of maybe having 'In Sousa We Trust' in Portugese, but if it looks good blank I might leave it.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 That is amazing you got your flag material and poles yet? http://www.fabricuk.com/fabrics.php?fabric_type=42#dataform royal blue is the same stuff we used for ours and poles.... http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MT20.html
Ozwin Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 I reckon white material with blue paint would look best. Think I'll pick some stuff up in town like someone said on the forums rather than order it online, bit more conveniant that way unless it's mega expensive.

Guest Bilo Posted 19 July 2010 Posted 19 July 2010 If we even come close to that in the future, we'll be ridiculously happy. Fantastic work.
