croftfox Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 my 13 year old daughter has been with me to watch us play against west brom. ok we lost, but she enjoyed being there. any pointers and advice please, as to how i can keep her interested in the foxes and not to sway off towards the easy options such as manu, liverpool and chelsea. tia.
Koke Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 Get her to some away games. She should get hooked after a while.
Sparky Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 Going to the games week in week out and seeing them get a smidging of success is worth 10 champions league trophies for an armchair fan. The passion of live games is the key to keeping her interested. Good luck
Webbo Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 I've taken all 3 of my daughters to the football in the past and not 1 of them is the slightest bit interested. Best of luck.
jonthefox Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 she's at that age where she'll start fancying players. I happen to sit next to the teenage ryan mcgivern fan club
Koke Posted 3 June 2010 Posted 3 June 2010 My sister is the chairman of the massive Michael Morrison fanclub she has created amongst her peers.
Finnegan Posted 4 June 2010 Posted 4 June 2010 New shoes? Absolute banker in my house. New pair every 3 points gained? He'd go broke (hopefully!) I was going to suggest getting her hooked on one of the pretty boys but that seems to have been mentioned already. Not that I mean to demean girls' interest in football, but, yanno. Amy (Is it Amy? The Bristollian?) likes Matt Oakley for fecks sakes - it's not for his footballing ability is it?

Mind you, if I could swap from the South Stand to the North Stand (or vice-versa) at half time to make checking out Weale easier, I probably would.
Zingari Posted 4 June 2010 Posted 4 June 2010 13 year old girls are highly unpredictable and volatile , i'd leave it a few years

croftfox Posted 6 June 2010 Author Posted 6 June 2010 the shoes and pretty boy idea's could work well on my older daughter who is 20! probably with the youngest, id be better off bribing her with packets of cheese and onion crisps and a fox cuddly toy.

AoWW Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 in that case, just let her sit next to Daggers... Blimey, she doesn't deserve that, surely?!!!
