Koke Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Hope Mexico nick a win here - if not at least a draw. After Uruguays win tonight, it's imporant Mexico don't lose this. Draw this and go into the last game against Uruguay with the destiny in your own hands. They are a bit toothless up front though. Their build-up play is good and consistent, but they tend to mess it up in the final third. France are there for the taking.
leicesterfox86 Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 France have the best players, but they still don't know what the word 'team' means, and Gourcuff won't be there to try to create a kind of cohesion... So... come on Mexico!! You've got your chance here!

Agreed they are a bit toothless, if they had a lynchpin like Uruguay have in Forlan they'd be in a far better situation. Having said that France are no better, they've been insipid ever since Zidane retired. Come on Mexico!!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Mehico, Mehico, ra ra ra! I have my 1970 Mexico home shirt on for this evening. It's a bit tight as I was only 13 when I bought it, but that's a small price to pay if Les Bleus are downed.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Good high tempo, quality game so far. Mexican fans
MC Prussian Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Call I personal dislike, but I just can't stand this French side. Mostly the same faces we've already seen four years ago and an outlet that promises a dull game, with a few attacks coming from Ribéry. Domenech stands for the type of football that is best described as an ineffective borefest. I'd love it if the Mexicans could stuff them as a revenge for what les Bleus did to Ireland during qualification. Franco, Dos Santos, Vela and even Salcido with great moves going forward. It's only a matter of time... And do you notice the Mexican fans? Quality. Even whistling the French side. Best atmosphere at a WC game so far.
Mee Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Finally, actually hearing some fans sing. All credit to the Mexican fans. Mexico are playing well also, shaping up for a good game.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 France look extremely shaky at the back it's Mexico's game if they want it.
Narborough_fox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Even with npo goals a very good game both teams bit shaky at the back and hoping for a decent last hour of the game.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Ireland would have been far more entertaining than this piss poor French outfit. <_< Mexico much the better side so far, they've impressed me tonight.
Edmund Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 **** knows how Nasri and Benzema have been left out of this side. I doubt it would've made much of a difference anyhow.
FoxyPV Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Hernandez has just scored for Mexico - I hope France go out in the group stages.
Koke Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Mexican fans going absolute berserk. Beautiful sight. Love it.
MC Prussian Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Serves them bloody dull French right. Simply not up for it, there is no team operating, but a bunch of overpaid individuals. Feel somewhat sorry for Lloris, he's probably the only French guy on the pitch who actually cares (besides Ribéry). England - are you watching?
