StanSP Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Would love a North Korea win here. Wonder how much they'd cry if that happened!
Fox You Forest Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 I've gone for a 1-0 win for North Korea in the prediction league.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Enjoyable game so far, both teams quite adventurous.
leicesterfox86 Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Enjoyable game so far, both teams quite adventurous. And both team with different way to play: good scorers against strong defence. I agree with that World Cup betting blog: Portugal have been disappointed and North Korea surprising so far, even after this first Portugal goal!
MC Prussian Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 It is a rout. Ronaldo & Co. helping to raise the goals-per-game average. Thank you, thank you very much. Portugal vs. Brazil looking like a real treat now, in the region of a 4-4... Have a feeling this won't be broadcast in Pyongyang. Only with a one-week delay, and even then they'll proudly mention how North Korea held Portugal to a 1-0... for 52 minutes.
C-man Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Portugal vs. Brazil looking like a real treat now, in the region of a 4-4... Probably not. Queiroz 'll set up his side more defensively against Brazil.
marbelladave Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 'Flat track bullies'. If Brazil can be arsed they will tear Portugal apart. Another Ronaldo no show.
Corky Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Wasn't expecting that after a pretty close first half. Hope the Portugal v Brazil match has goals in it too.
Koke Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Have a feeling this won't be broadcast in Pyongyang. I guess they'll be disappointed with the 0-0 draw.
Jonezy Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Great, decided to go shopping and missed out on this 7 goal demolition... Some good goals?
Tilley Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 7 This was broadcasted live on Korean state television, the first to ever be televised live. The commentator apparently at the end said, 'Well done Portugal but we still have four points.'
Guest Bilo Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 No real surprise. In this company, North Korea were always going to suffer at least one thumping. And still Ronaldo looked fairly anonymous besides a largely irrelevant goal against an already beaten side. As good a player as he is, he just doesn't seem to do it at international level.
BoneDog Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 I only got home for the second half. Glad I did cos some of Portugals moves were great to watch. I thought Ronaldo did okay now and then second half. He played a lovely ball low across goal just behind the defender and hit the bar with a quite good effort.
