conradno1 Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 right i have a major issue, i have two laptops my old one wich needs the charger to be on and now that one is broke and this laptop wich is fine but when i installed fm on to this comp and played it starting a city file turned it off and the next day i went to games put the disk in and clicked on it and when i click on the game icon it dosent respond so i put it on my old laptop wich is now broke.does anyone no how to either fix this big problemo or uninstall it so i can do it again ? cheers

Finnegan Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Cool, for a newbie like me to the game, how do you get it onto the game after downloading it? thanks In the Sports Interactive folder in your My Documents go into Football Manager 2011 and there should be a tactics folder. Drop it in there. It should then show up in game when you go to load a tactic from the tactics screen as you would with one you'd saved yourself.
DB11 Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 came 3rd in the league. lost 3-2 at pompy in the first leg away and they played a 4-1-4-1 stratergy and drew 0-0. all my loans have gone back and the finances are buggered. if i keep my job for the start of the next season ill be shocked. I finished 11th in the first season... and got offered a new contract!

Should strengthen me up at the back, got a couple of winnable fixtures coming up too so he's come in at the perfect time. Pulled open an 8 point gap between me and the relegation zone, things are looking up.

Sitting top of the league after 8 games, my best eleven being: Weale Walker Hobbs Clark Briggs Stock (Signed on deadline day from Donny for 1.3m) King Wellens Hoilett Commons Waghorn Finished 2nd, 3pts behind Forest. My team got 81 goals and Commons was my top scorer with 11, so basically everyone chipped in. Massive summer coming up with lots of good players needed.

Dropped to the play-offs after being auto promotion for most of the season and then bottled that in the semis to Cardiff. Ipswich beat Cardiff in the final to join myself and Boro.

Anyone know how to sort it? What do you mean by "transferred everything over?" Because your saved game file is in the "games" sub-folder of your Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2011 in your My Documents. If you put that file in the identical folder in your new laptop it should be there. Remember FM will need to be patched up to the same level as on your other computer.

My 1st season, by all accounts was a major success. 1st in League 2 Qtr Final of the League cup,losing to Man City, but scalping Coventry, Sheff U and Swansea in the process. 4th Round of the FA Cup, losing to Peterborough 4-0 Final of the JPT,losing to Peterborough 7-1 on aggregate My player turnover is crazy though and I must have had well over 100 players on trial at the club in the past 12 months. Febian Brady and King Gyan are both class players for league 2 though. I did start a game with Leicester but it went bellyup really quickly!!
