Unit Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Surprised this hasn't popped up yet, i've done nothing over the last week apart from watch 'breaking news' on sky without anything happening, looks like it's actually kicking off now. Paul Gascoigne has been now bought in and given him a sausage roll and a lager (according to sky) It's a horrible situation to be in for both parties, I imagine it's hit him now that he's actually killed a person and the police are obviously scared shitless knowing he wants to kill them, anyway, there's a 'stand off' as i type

Unit Posted 9 July 2010 Author Posted 9 July 2010 It's just completely odd though, I had a half ounce of sympathy for him ( i know...) but his mrs left him, he got out of prison and had nothing, there's no excusing killing a man but then gazza getting dragged into it left me dumfounded, he bought him a sausage roll and a fooking lager! it is madness. I don't know whether or not to feel sympathy for a murderer but it's a truly horrible situation.

God knows, it's really odd, has he shot himself? surely the police wouldn't jump on him?

martyn Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 I like the fact he couldn't confirm the stand off was at an end. "We'll get him patched up and stick him back in the field" 5Live coverage a bit better, actually had some eyewitnesses rather than pure speculation.
