AoWW Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Moi? But that kinda proves my point - assuming you don't go up to some girl and go 'hey nevermind my receding hairline - it's not that bad... I've loadsa other good points *sucks stomach in, flexes muscles* etc, etc...'' the chances are she won't even notice. Or maybe I'm just exceptionally un-shallow.
cambridgefox Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Or are you stocking up on coke,to become obese,so no one will notice the hair(or lack of it) Mine is going too but not too worried,i keep it shortish with a mini morrissey Quiff!
MC Prussian Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 It comes as a shock at first. Then you think to yourself - who cares? Appreciate both receding hairlines and grey hair. You can work around the first one by going for a real short haircut. Then think of George Clooney's impact on women. Wouldn't be the same without grey hair, would it?
FoxesFan100 Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Yeah i got one bad times for a 20 year old :'( asked my doctor what i could use and something called Regain, costs about £20 from a pharmacy
ozleicester Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 I think he spent about 3 grand on a hair treatment. Mine is thinning a lot lately and is receding a bit at the corners, i've been ill for a while though so it's probably due to that. I suspect I have a thyroid problem but the doctors refuse to treat me. My TSH is 3.4 amd apperantly if I was living in America now they would treat me for being hypothyroid Doctors in the UK are useless. are you Kryton?
Alexikokopops Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Sound, you look about my age. Do you find girls dribble sick down themselves in digust at your bald patches? All the time. But I've found if you embrace it, and even joke about it, the disgust quickly just turns to just repulse, and they at least let you hand them a cloth to clean the sick up.
BoneDog Posted 22 July 2010 Posted 22 July 2010 This is advice from Dr R.A Lasania and Dr I Keekas book Natural Remedies : "Do not use shampoos and soaps as these contain harmful chemicals. 1. Bring a cup of mustard oil to a boil. Gradually add to it 4 tablespoons of henna leaves. Filter and store it in a jar. Massage on the bald patches daily. 2. Make a fine paste of red gram (arhar) using water as a base. Apply regularly. 3. To strengthen the hair, mix an egg with a cup of milk. Rub well into the scalp. Leave for half an hour. Rinse with clean water. Do this twice a week. Before going to bed daily, apply almond oil to the hair, massaging it well into the scalp. 4. Oil in which green mangos have been preserved for one year should be rubbed into the scalp." Either of those should work! They are strange remedies but that book is shit hot and I have used a few remedies from it and they all worked for various things. I think you can get some of the ingredients from Indian/Pakistani stores. Good luck
