Southern Fox Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 Rightly or wrongly im now the official sponsor of DJ Campbell for this season 2010/11 I now just got to hope he stays around otherwise I will look pretty silly 40/1 to be League's leading scorer looks good value based on end of last season (Blackpool) and pre-season dont you think?
Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 I'll give it until the end of this page before someone asks the inappropriate question of how much you paid
Southern Fox Posted 5 August 2010 Author Posted 5 August 2010 what company do you represent? I paid for it out of my own money but I work for a company called Evolve Thats the trouble with supporting your team so much - you do silly things I only called up yesterday on the enquiry that there would only be academy players left But the guy said that DJ was still available and Paulo thinks highly of him Well enough said - I didnt wait for any other names - if he is plays as well as he did against Sunderland then thats good enough for me for a season Do you get dividend payments per offside? if only

Tommy G Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 I paid for it out of my own money but I work for a company called Evolve Thats the trouble with supporting your team so much - you do silly things I only called up yesterday on the enquiry that there would only be academy players left But the guy said that DJ was still available and Paulo thinks highly of him Well enough said - I didnt wait for any other names - if he is plays as well as he did against Sunderland then thats good enough for me for a season if only Right - correct me if I'm wrong but your paid for it out of your own cash...WHY?! Surely the whole point of sponsorship id to get a bit of exposure for a company. Are you hoping to get some personal exposure? Don't get it
Southern Fox Posted 5 August 2010 Author Posted 5 August 2010 Well done! How much has that set you back?? Who's still available?.. *checks pockets* Too much Academy players are £250 for a season - you get a signed shirt by the first team with that I have no idea who is left - if you want I can message you an email address of who I spoke with
Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 As I said: Dang it. I'm new! Sob I should start a bookmakers Don't worry about it - you seemed generally curious - I was waiting for the 'I have a right to know because I buy a season ticket' club to come along.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 Too much Academy players are £250 for a season - you get a signed shirt by the first team with that I have no idea who is left - if you want I can message you an email address of who I spoke with Please say the bit in the programme will read "Southern Fox" or at least "name AKA Southern Fox on Foxestalk!"

Southern Fox Posted 5 August 2010 Author Posted 5 August 2010 Right - correct me if I'm wrong but your paid for it out of your own cash...WHY?! Surely the whole point of sponsorship id to get a bit of exposure for a company. Are you hoping to get some personal exposure? Don't get it Yeah you are right - it is supposed to be for that But the company I work for wouldnt pay for this - Player Sponsorship package means my name goes in every home matchday magazine (under DJ's photo) and on the lcfc.com website (not really essential) Also included is a VIP hospitality day for four guests which includes a pitchside presentation and photograph with DJ I also get a signed shirt by the first team too Just wanted to do it - shoot me down I guess I could put my company on there but considering they havent put their hand in their pocket and I have I think not
Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 http://www.lcfc.com/page/Sponsorship/0,,10274~2010044,00.html Maybe I should hold off that bookmakers idea for the time being...
davieG Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 Do you get a refund if he buggers off? Perhaps buggery is involved
wiggy Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 Too much Academy players are £250 for a season - you get a signed shirt by the first team with that I have no idea who is left - if you want I can message you an email address of who I spoke with Guess if you can get an academy player that breaks through during the season you'll be quids in... unless they call you back and say "now that Joe Bloggs is a first team player you'll have to cough up some more". Am sure our club wouldn't do that though Let me know the contact though - cheers
Aeropars Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 I work for a company called Evolve As in Evolve IT who work for Lafarge?
Southern Fox Posted 5 August 2010 Author Posted 5 August 2010 Do you get a refund if he buggers off? I asked that question. Another player depending on who is left? Robbie Neilson probably As in Evolve IT who work for Lafarge? Nope
Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 Yeah you are right - it is supposed to be for that But the company I work for wouldnt pay for this - Player Sponsorship package means my name goes in every home matchday magazine (under DJ's photo) and on the lcfc.com website (not really essential) Also included is a VIP hospitality day for four guests which includes a pitchside presentation and photograph with DJ I also get a signed shirt by the first team too Just wanted to do it - shoot me down I guess I could put my company on there but considering they havent put their hand in their pocket and I have I think not People pay to have their names read out at half time or have a brick on the wall or other things that gives them a memory of being part of LCFC and in relative terms this is no different. If you have the money why not
