iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Apparently Leon Osman's career is finished through an ankle injury. Very unfortunate. Everton do have their fair share of injury problems and a small squad and this is like a kick in the bollocks for them if this is true. Massive shame for the lad if true.
Fox You Forest Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 He only got injured Sunday didn't he? seems awfully quick for doctors to be calling time on his career after four days.

Yeah went off at half-time. Best case scenario is 6-12 months out. Also, just found out through my mate who told me originally, that Osman had 2 out of the 3 ligaments taken out of his ankle when he was younger after he injured them. And the one he injured on Sunday was the remaining ligament.

"My mate said..." As an aside, and I know he isn't a new signing, but Samir Nasri has been absolutely fvcking superb for Arsenal this season.

I agree. He's on fire at the minute. Just waiting for the next bad tackle/injury to come and wreck his/their season, which would be very unfortunate.

Just waiting for the next bad tackle/injury to come and wreck his/their season, which would be very unfortunate. I hear there's a certain Mr de Jong waiting on Sunday, if I'm honest... Also, police have dispersed "up to 30" protestors from outside the Cheshire home of Wayne Rooney according to BBC Sports' ticker. lol
StanSP Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Aha I hope De Jong gets injured before he can cause any injury to someone else. I saw that on Manford's Twitter.

I saw that on Manford's Twitter. wishing injury on a player to prevent injury to another player.. Logical! Honestly, what good do a few pissed up chavvy lads think they're gona do standing outside Rooneys' house calling him a willy puller or a cvnt is gona do?! It's hardly gona make him think "yes, I want to stay here" is it?!
Fox You Forest Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 You're assuming it's about the move, it could be the husbands/boyfriends of everyone he's been nobbing.

That is bloody good for an Arsenal player.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 They don't seem to be many Man Utd fans actually thinking "hang on, maybe Rooney's got a point". Two of their key players this season are Scholes and Giggs, who I doubt will be around next season, Tevez and Ronaldo both moved on (with Rooney looking like it in the near future), Vidic has been linked with leaving a fair bit recently, Ferdinand's falling apart, Ferguson surely hasn't got that many more years in him, the club is massively in debt, and their signings this season were Smalling, Bebe and Hernandez (which, compared to previous signings, isn't that overwhelming). In my opinion, the signs aren't that brilliant.

StanSP Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Osman's out for six weeks. Yep got a text this morning. Needless to say she was vrery happy. Made me look like a tit though <_< He was put in a cast as they obviously thought it was much much more serious
StanSP Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Goes from bad to worse for a certain Mr Carroll based in Newcastle... Apparently, 'Andy Carrolls car was set a light on Nolan's drive and they also graffitied on Nolans garage door, not sure what it said.'

MikeyT Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Just a thought...if West Ham get a point today, Liverpool go bottom.
Tilley Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Spurs v Everton should be a good game. With Everton coming into the match on the back of beating Liverpool and Spurs on the back of beating Inter Milan 3-0 with 10 men (If you only count the second half ) it should be two sides full of confidence. Hopefully an open game, I am going for 2-1 Spurs.
sdb Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 potentially a good game and i hope they don't cancel each other out, or that SPurs are knackered. Also Arteta's doubtful which would suck.

sdb Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 bit of a bummer, still it should be decent. 2 teams going for a win (i expect), all you can ask for really.
Jimothy Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Wow what a flick from Van der Vaart. Would have been on of the goals of the season had Modric finished it off.
