The Doctor Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 yes! Full time 2-0. agree with what foxyPV is saying: 2005 champions league aside they haven't really done much for 20 or so years now, they aren't as big as they think they are.
ScouseFox Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Liverpool fans are far worse than ours as they believe that they have a divine right to be finalists / league runners up if not actual winners. "It's not the liverpool way" is one of the phrases I hate the most in modern football. Fook off your club is a shadow of its former self - get used to it! Everyone else has to without moaning as much as you lot do! Rant over. Those types of Liverpool fans are the glory hunting ones, the actual fans who travel to every game and are from the area etc. are fully aware of how shit their club has become. I listened to them all say how they had turned a corner and were very optimistic about the rest of the season now the Americans had gone, and been replaced by more Americans. Be interesting how many now phone up saying "Roy out" and the rest.
Edmund Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I think Roy's been a bit naive really. He's tried to use the same approach to managing Liverpool as he did with Fulham. There's no doubt he's a talented manager but is he versatile enough to manage a club with the expectations that come with Liverpool? Benitez knew the team was on the decline and with the fans growing restless jumped shipped at the right time. Nothings changed from the Benitez era, Liverpool need four or five world class players to start competing for a cl spot let alone going for the title yet they didn't do that. Arguably Joe Cole was a coup but he's not really in the world class bracket,
dandannieldanok Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Roy is properly cocking things up, keep it up Roy!
Jimothy Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I don't know what Liverpool fans are worried about. I think they've got every chance of winning the league next season. And if they don't, I'm pretty sure they'll make the play-offs.
Mee Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I don't know what Liverpool fans are worried about. I think they've got every chance of winning the league next season. And of they don't, I'm pretty sure they'll make the play-offs. On a different note - Blackpool came fairly close then!
Corky Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I'm sure the phone-ins tonight will be full of "Woy Out". One league win in eight, poor start for him. He should concentrate on Europe.
jonthefox Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Roys going to get the vote pf confidence tomorrow. .......and then sacked on tuesday
Fox You Forest Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 They'll end up getting punished soon if they don't start to turn some of their good play into a goal.
dogadug Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 DJ being offside was why Taylor-Fletchers goal was ruled out
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Want them to lose anyway. Got Hart and K. Toure in my Fantasy team so I could do with the clean sheet. Plus Chelsea need a bit of competition at the top.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 If you'd never seen football before, you wouldn't think Blackpool were the 'paupers' and Man City had £200+ million of talent on the pitch. Blackpool are all over City
BoneDog Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Defo offside. Blackpool should have scored by now though, good save from Hart recently and Adams free kick was a good effort. Oooooh ya ducker off the bar.
BoneDog Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I'm having a tenner on Blackpool to win The FA Cup Yesssssssssss!!
