C.J Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 What the hell's going on behind the concourses, no cornish pasteys and no bovril! o, and whats with those pathetic little chip forks, trying to eat a pie with one of those is hard. Its jusy not cricket, SORT IT. CHANGE IS NOT GOOD! Well done to the fosse boys for refusing to sit down for our idiotic stewards. It sounded good (loved the banner), but when the rest of the kop sing, can you join in with them because it sounds wrong when your singing two different chants!
AndyBrew Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 We did join in with the kop every time I thought, maybe we were a bit slow on the uptake.
Leicfox Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Is it all - Thai red curry, sticky rice and Sang Thip ??

It sounded good (loved the banner), but when the rest of the kop sing, can you join in with them because it sounds wrong when your singing two different chants! and having to eat a pie that is hotter than the sun with only a napkin between you and a severe burn to the hand! stewards were just acting like a bunch of ego driven arseholes imo, a few lads standing with nobody near them have a sing and causing no offence or trouble to anyone and they just acted like a load of tools imo
AndyBrew Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Sounds like the pies are more of a health and safety issue than standing
FrankieADZ Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 i saw that today too no sodding folk for me pie, they really need to sort it.
Houdini Logic Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Threads like this make me happy - finally a sign the team are playing well
C.J Posted 14 August 2010 Author Posted 14 August 2010 We did join in with the kop every time I thought, maybe we were a bit slow on the uptake. Sorry, yeah you did afew times. Is there a link to the words of some of the chants on here? I found it hard to sing slow enough to 'when the blues go marching in', but it sounded class.
renards Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Catering is too crap or words, all pre season to suss a f ing fork let Mr Catering boss show us how to eat a pie with a cocktail stick The thais will show them the way customer+shit in Blighty
Ozwin Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 What were those 2 or 3 blokes who went over to the Fosse Boys and started mouthing off all about? Was well funny seeing you lot clap them away as they effed and blinded their way back to their seat.
mickydeeeuk Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 The catering has gone to sh*t, agreed! £6.50 I got charged for a bottle of pepsi, a bottle of tango & 1 chicken & mushroom pie! At that price there is no excuse for skimping on anything. I genuinely did nearly drop the pie because the metal tray was so hot! (used to get a little polystyrene tray) the nice wooden forks were replaced with little plastic tooth pick things & sauce is now in the stupid sachet things...... Crap! ......apart from that it was good to be back!!
Fosse Boy Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 We joined in when the majority got a song going...

I think they were showing support, the people in front of us were going mental with the stewards on our behalf I. Wasn't aware of any negative comments from anybody
C.J Posted 14 August 2010 Author Posted 14 August 2010 I think they've changed the catering company. But, no bovril????? what the hell are you supposed to drink in the winter?
Ozwin Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 I think they were showing support, the people in front of us were going mental with the stewards on our behalf I. Wasn't aware of any negative comments from anybody Oh right, they looked a bit menacing and angry from where I was sitting. Thought the clapping was sarcastic.
leftsideoverhere Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 I understand they've brought the catering back "in house" which should have made it better, but the queues were longer than ever as the second half got underway. How difficult can it be to serve people fast enough that everyone can get what they want while the half time interval is still underway? Since you can't take beer back to your seat, it means some people are trying to drink a pint in twenty seconds as they walk back towards the stairs. And +1 to the bovril demands. I'm really gonna miss that in the mid-winter evening kick offs. The other hot drinks are foul.

Was well funny seeing you lot clap them away as they effed and blinded their way back to their seat. Yes mate, they were showing support. "F**k what these (stewards) say, you're doing brilliant. Well done lads (and lasses)." about sums up what they were saying. As mentioned elsewhere, there were numerous people coming up to us giving us praise. A few people even moved over to us, and I also noticed an elderly lady sat lower down infont of us clapping along to our chants.
The Doctor Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Don't buy the shit overpriced food in the first place. this. I can't understand why people can't get through an hour and a half without a pie and a drink, paticularly when you could have just had lunch a couple of hours before kick-off, about the sort of time people usually take lunch during the week.

Didnt even have the TV's on to watch an early kick off.......or even sky sports news........nothing. crap concourse but good game
Matt Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Oh also the lad was only saying it in jest but i'm sure there are some people who would take offence and may even result in argument, abuse, e.t.c when I was getting a pint of catpiss the lad serving said "So what do you think the score will be today" I said "Erm dunno, I'm thinking maybe 2-1 or something..." he replied "C'MON BORO". As I said he was just saying it in jest but don't really appreciate that. Twat.
