Tuna Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Lets sign some quality players Paulo, we are shit. This team is worse than the League 1 side.
Pegosteve Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 We have to have the shittiest fans in the entire football league. That means that many, many posters are worst than the dregs than WACCOE and the like. 1) None of you are there so really have no ability to comment on how well or not (as the case may later be...) we played. You are relying on Ian Stringer. 'Nuff said. 2) We've played THREE games. THREE. If we're still not gelling after 10 games, then you might have more of a point. 3) We've had to play 'Boro AND Burnley in our first three games, two teams I fully expect to be up there at the end. Add to this the fact that we're still massively in the financial mire (until the last few weeks) and the fact we're trying to gel an entirely new style of football with a couple of new players and you can see why we've had a tough start to the season. There are so many ******, both on here and at the Walkers, that its becoming more and more difficult to support my club. Its got to the point where its hard to go to home games because of the sheer amount of ****wits wandering around. If Sousa goes in the next few weeks (or we make some big money, no-mark signing), I may have to resign myself to being the type of fan that only looks up results on the internet, you're that bad. Agreed
The Doctor Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 moussa on, oakley off. the change should have been made rather than bringing on lamey
sbfox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Oh and NFP as one of our best managers? Jog on. We played hoofball and dominated League 1 by bullying smaller teams in to submission. Even last year, we were massively lucky to make the play-offs. Glad he's gone to be honest and I won't be sad if Fatty follows him out the door...
Wdywd Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 The most worrying thing about the first 4 games (if we include Macclesfield) is the fact that the defence appears to have gone to shit. 3 to Palace, 3 to Macclesfield & 3 so far today. Not playing Fryatt & playing DJ on the wing means we've got no one to score either. Sousa's under pressure already, which is obviously ridiculous, but that's the way it is. Especially with these new owners & Milan still around.

Stadt Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Could be worse, we could support Barnet!! 7-0 is it? Or blackpool?

What, so we play hoofball forever, or at least until our multi-million pound debts are cleared? No thanks.
Arkie Bennett Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 We can't all afford to go to away matches. That doesn't mean those who aren't there don't have the right to pass comment. Stringer, with his light and self-centred brand of commentary, could never be described as a thorough and reliable source of accurate information on the performance of the team. However, such a one-sided scoreline tells its own story.
Jonezy Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 There are moaners, people who moans about the moaners and then there are those who moans about the people who moans about the moaners. This place is frickin brilliant, when the team hits a rough patch, but please let us agree, that it is okey to be frustrated, when a few months ago, we were so damn close to the playoff final, and now we are bottom of the league after some lacklustre performances.

You may not like the style, but it won us games and was very successful.
The Doctor Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Stringer " can we equalise?" - 3 goals in 10 minutes having only got 1 on target in 80. not likely. oh and leicester bottom on GD. 3 games in, table means nothing right now.

Yes, you can say all that but the alarm bells are there. Last season we had a solid set-up. Our defence was a rock from which our team was built. We have now shipped 9 goals in 4 games. That's a hell of a reversal and should ring alarm bells. The fact is the squad we have is not as strong as last season. Against Macclesfield, I was watching thinking we'd struggle to make the play-offs. Now I'm thinking we'll have a fight to make mid-table.
DanTheFox07 Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 What, so we play hoofball forever, or at least until our multi-million pound debts are cleared? No thanks. well worked for pearson didn`t it, besides id rather stay in championship than play our football in league one!

Austin Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 I'd take Nigel pearson's "hoofball" tactics over this sort of football any day .. Still have faith in Sousa to sort it out, only 3 games in against 3 good teams, certainly room for improvement, spend some money !
Pegosteve Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 3 games in and there is talk of relegation, come on get a grip! No chance.
