CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Weale Lamey - Morrison - Hobbs - Berner Abe King - Wellens Dyer - Howard - Waghorn If Abe ain't ready replace him with Moreno, same applies with Weale and put in Ikeme
Cheese Me Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Weale Lamey - Hobbs - Morrison / Vitor - Berner Dyer - King - Abe - Gally Fryatt - Waghorn Then Howard and Wellens on after 60 mins to batter a tired defence / midfield
CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I totally forgot about Gallagher! hmmmm i'd probs bench him and bring him on if we need to change things abit
Wymsey Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Ilkme Morrison Hobbs Berner / \ Lamey Wellens King Abe Dyer | | Fryatt Waghorn Ilkme Morrison Hobbs Berner Gallagher, King,Abe, Wellens,Dyer Fryatt Waghorn (I also forgot Gallagher is still here.)
Salieri Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 If anyone gets the team selection right, I'll donate to the forum.... There's another surprise 'incoming', 'outgoing' or both, transfer... Unless i'm reading too much into certain posts.
Joe. Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I forgot about Gallagher too, it'd be a straight toss up between him and Lloyd for me. I'd probably be inclined to go for Gallagher to be honest, I really do like him when he's playing well.
Jackirius Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 ---------------------------------Logan---------------------------------------- ------Lamey-------Morrison-------Hobbs--------Berner-------------- ---------------King-----------Wellens--------------Abe------------------- ---------------------Dyer-----------------Waghorn------------------------- ----------------------------------Fryatt---------------------------------------- Either Wellens or Gallagher...

Lisburn Fox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 -----------------------------------------Ikeme-------------------------------------- Nielson-------------Morrison-------------------------Hobbs----------------------Berner ----------------------------------------Abe---------------------------------------------------- ------------------King----------------------------------------Wellans---------------------- ------Fryatt-------------------------------------------------------------------------Dyer---- -----------------------------------------Howard--------------------------------------------- Subs: Logan, Moreno, Lamey, N'Guesson, Oakley, Waghorn, Gallagher
LCFCkid Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Weale (if not fit Logan) Lamey Hobbs Morrison Bruno Abe King Wellens Dyer Fryatt or Howard Waghorn
NorthernFox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I'd like to see Nielson get a run at right back, much improved, also from little i've seen I think moussa will be a little diamond. Weale (if fit) Nielson Morrison Hobbs Kennedy Dyer Moussa King Gallagher Waghorn Fryatt
Lillehamring Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 If anyone gets the team selection right, I'll donate to the forum.... probably a pretty safe bet, as most of us have included Abe, and sousa has been quoted as saying he's not going to play him right off...
CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I forgot about Gallagher too, it'd be a straight toss up between him and Lloyd for me. I'd probably be inclined to go for Gallagher to be honest, I really do like him when he's playing well. You couldn't drop Dyer after his start to the season tho and his performance against Reading.. He could have single handly won us that game moussa was crap on sat 15 mins was it? if that...come on pal sort it out
jack-lcfc Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I don't care about the line up aslong as oakley isn't ahead of King again
C-man Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I'd play: Logan Neilson - Hobbs - Morrison - BernerAbe - KingLloyd - Gallagher - WaghornFryatt With King being the important link between Abe and Gally and a tight and compact back four. For now.
CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Weale Lamey - Morrison - Hobbs - Berner Abe/Moreno Dyer - King - Gallagher Howard - Waghorn I still go with my first choice i did but we could start with that aswell, i wouldn't be that disappointed with that line up
dandannieldanok Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Don't know, to be honest the only person who has merited a nailed-on starting position so far is Lloyd Dyer. I've never been a huge fan but this guy has started the season fantastically well, as long as he starts I'm not too fussed about who the other 10 are.
Joe. Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Wouldn't start Howard personally, his involvement induces far too much long ball whether you like it or not.
CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Wouldn't start Howard personally, his involvement induces far too much long ball whether you like it or not. True but there's that hardness about him that i like in a player (that sounded abit gay i know) and with Fryatt at the moment down in the dumps i'd have Howard over him

The Doctor Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Weale (if fit - if not then Logan) Morrison --------- Neilson --------- Hobbs --------- Berner Abe ------ Moreno Dyer ---------- King --------- Gallagher Waghorn subs: Logan (unless weale isn't fit - then Ikeme) , Kennedy, Parkes, Moussa, Wellens, Fryatt, Howard
mancunianfox Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Moreno Berner Moussa Wellens (or Abe) King Dyer Fryatt Waghorn Subs: Howard, N'Guessen, Logan, Oakley, Gallagher, Abe, Neilson
MikeyT Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 I know not technically team news but thought it could go in this section anyway...feel free to delete if i'm wrong. From SSN website. Aidy Boothroyd is hoping Marlon King will be available to play in Coventry City's next game against Leicester City. King is looking for a new club following his release from prison and the striker is set to be reunited with Boothroyd at the Ricoh Arena. The pair worked together at Watford and Sky Blues boss Boothroyd is aiming to finalise a deal for the 30-year-old by the end of the week. "We didn't have to sign him before the window closed, but we hope to complete that by the end of the week," Boothroyd told the Coventry Evening Telegraph. Coventry's next match is at home to local rivals Leicester on Saturday 11th September and King is likely to be in contention for an immediate debut. When asked when King would be ready to play, Boothroyd replied: "For the next game! "He's kept himself in good shape and he would be available for the Leicester match."
