This was a few years back when i was living in Church Gresley and a select 11 came and played our local team Gresley Rovers.

It was after the match and everyone was in the bar and a few of the city players came in you had Steve Walsh,Tony Cottee, and Muzzy Izzet .After about 20 minutes and in steve's case 3 pints later Martin O'Neill came in and asked the players if they were drinking and stevie said no boss course not despite having a frothy half pint in his hand lol.

John Robertson is a really nice fella too baught me and my dad a pint despite the fact i was 16 at the time.

I used to live near Matt Elliott & he used to drink in my local all the time. My sister used to go the same school as his daughter and for anyone that watches The Inbetweeners on E4 (hilarious and new series out at the moment), Matt Elliotts daughter is going to be in the new Inbetweeners movie that is being filmed at the moment.

Served Iain Hume,Muzzy Izzet, Paddy McCarthy, Rob Kelly, Gary Mcallister & Marlon Harewood when I worked at JJB. God knows why you would decide to spend money in JJB when you earn as much as they do.

Also spoken to various players when out in town including Nils-Eric Johansson (nice bloke) & Gareth McAuley (tosser).

After the Cardiff play off first leg at home, me and my mrs stood next to Waghorn and his mrs down the cinema de lux, queuing up for drinks/popcorn etc they were going to see Hot Tub Time Machine, think we saw that awful Nightmare On Elm Street remake!!

Saw Jack Hobbs and Chris Weale in Wagamama on a Sunday afternoon, the day after Weale's howler away at Derby last season

Regularly see Jack Hobbs walking round the High Cross, he was in Eat a couple of Sundays ago

Seen Alexander Tunchev walking round town about 20 times

Seen Dany N'Guessan outside the ground the other day in his black Porche 4x4 thing

Stood next to Stevie Howard and Matt Oakley in the megastore the day they launched that Foxes debit card thing

I've met many a player in my time some highlights are Ian Marshall looking like a scruffy cvnt at our school presentation, Whistling "she said no dickov " behind Dickov in Markfield One-stop after the rape allergations, Meeting Gazza at Walshy's testermonial, Muzzy taking me and a friend who used to walk his dogs to Mcdonalds, Savage getting p!ssed off with us harrasing him one halloween, until he gave us somthing for trick or treats when he was living in Glenfield.

The funniest LCFC moment was when Peter Gilbert signed for us and i won a Yellow replic shirt signed by him one FNF game. For me to turn to him and ask "who are you?" also won a huge bag of Merlin Premership Football Stickers that was like a dream come true when i was about 8/9yr :scarf:

Gary Lineker's new missus's kid goes to the same school as mine - cant decide who i'm more excited to meet her or him (still haven't built up the guts to speak to either)

John Terry's, Malouda's and redknapps kids go there as well - but don't give monkeys about them

Also Aaron hughes - he's a real gentleman though

I went to school with David Webb's daughter when he was at Leicester.

Just remembered a good old school one, I used to deliver Tommy Wrights paper! Saw holloway doing his shopping one Sunday morning with his wife in Loughborough, it was early days then so still liked him then!

Jade? I used to go Bosworth school with her and Charlie. Both were on my bus to Desford.

A few of mine....

Elliotts kids used to go to Beachwood when I was at Linden in year 6 (before it turned into Greenfields).

Chatted with James Scowcroft in the Yews once, towards the end of his career here though.

And my favourite one which I only vaguely remember, met Steve Claridge in Fan Club last year! had a quick chat, hand shake and a photo! I look horrific, but fook it, its Steve!
