Babylon Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have absolutely no idea any more what's for the best.
m00nie Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 im with you also... may be the minority on here atm but i still feel its right to stick by him....
CKB Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I just haven't got a clue, maybe there should be a I haven't got a clue if i want Sousa out or not thread haha
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I remember the Cardiff game. This is how potentially we can play under this man. And for that alone I am willing to give him more time, but something needs to click soon.
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 I have absolutely no idea any more what's for the best. I really want him & every manager too succeed. I don't feel that the crushing defeat was down to him. The ref & the Lino did more for the result than Sousa. Things will either click in 4/5 games or he will leave IMO. <_<

My recollection of the Cardiff game was a good first 20 minutes, a woeful next 25, a truly outstanding next 35 and then a very shaky final 10.
i luv u foxes Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 everybody is entitled to an opinion but can i ask why you wish to keep him????

Mack Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 As if his complete lack of any idea with team selection and tactics wasn't enough, laughing on the sidelines while we were 4 down and then suggesting he was proud of the players in his post match interview leaves him completely indefensible.
Ozwin Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I was too young to remember but how many games did MON get until the pressure really started to mount and there were protests at the ground? It was about 8 or 9 wasn't it?

Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 everybody is entitled to an opinion but can i ask why you wish to keep him???? I believe in him. I believe in the proper way to play football. I want to out play the opposition & I want to win. It does not have to be pretty! I want Leicester to be topof the league because they beat teams because they are a better football team not because they have the ability to pick up results which they were fortunate to do so. I see this under Sousa, thats it.
haraven Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Only Martin O'Neill can sort this mess, but tbf - today is not only Sousa's fault. We're officially the unluckiest team in the entire European league system.

Seriously????
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 Some decisions he made tonight were bizarre tho you have to agree? Yeah I would have made some different decisions if I was the manager, then again I don't always agree with SAF or Capello so what do I know?

Between 6 and 8, culminating in a big protest after a 2-0 defeat at home to Sheff Utd, couple of differences here in that I think we fell to about 13th and that was considered unacceptable at the time. Amazed that some people still consider 23/24th to be acceptable given that we were a penalty kick from a play off final not 6 months ago.
Edmund Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 How can anyone want a manger who sits there in silence with his assistant throughout the ninety minutes. Even Chrissy Powell couldn't give a fuck. Steve Cotterill take a bow, showed passion from the touchline scribbling notes and barking orders. Hobbs didn't even understand Sousa's instructions for fucks sake.

Surely the acceptablity of our position is due to the % of the season that we are currently through. O'Neil had 10 games left, we have only played a few. There is plenty of time to get tings right, if we were in April I would be extremely disapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

moseeds Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Stick with him for at least until game 10. then reevaluate. This is a volatile table where even Derby and Forest find themselves stuck in the bottom half. At the moment city are Jekyll and Hyde. I'm hoping the City that came out fighting against Palace second half, Middlesborough, Cardiff, Leeds and Portsmouth on Tuesday ultimately prevails over their nasty other half.
