Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 Heaven forbid that football at City should ever become boring & overly predictable. Yea you must be right, let's keep Sousa to prevent that happening. Do me a favor would ya me old fruit Pick 6 numbers between 1 & 49 Regards KilworthMillionare
Webbo Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I don't care about what he says, that's all PR bullshit. What I care about are results and performance and they've been shit and getting worse.
rabbid Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Do me a favor would ya me old fruit Pick 6 numbers between 1 & 49 Regards KilworthMillionare Makes as much sense as anything you've posted in support of Sousa staying.
Nationwider Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Now is the time to remember that an anagram of Yann Kermorgant is No Granny Market.
Lillehamring Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 i want him to stay. pros. we are not a bad team playing bad football - we are a good team playing inconsistent football some of the defending and the rubbish finishing tonight can't be attributed to bad management think of the alternatives when we've been good, we've been very good we've played the teams in 1st and 2nd place, plus 3 teams that have been in the prem in the last few seasons against. he keeps picking howard and oakley ...i'm pretty sure we'll pick up points in the next few games, certain elements have improved since the beginning of the season - ok taking off Abe for Hobbs was a shocking mistake, but the players have to take some responsibilty here - i can see him struggling through to the transfer window at around 18-20th place and then getting a fuck load of quality in the transfer market. remember, the owners must really rate sousa, and they know they won't get the sort of manager to replace him that fits in with their plans, so expect to see him around a while longer.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Makes as much sense as anything you've posted in support of Sousa staying. I understand what Kilworth is saying. But I'm not going to enlighten you. Which is weird... seeing as you know so much.

I think this is a really good post. On Howard he is our only target man & gives us an extra outlet. I think he is beter from the bench, but the other forwards are out of form, Waggy in his prefered position would be nice to see, lets change the formation, & stop trying to accomodate King.
rabbid Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I understand what Kilworth is saying. But I'm not going to enlighten you. Worthwhile post then.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I knew one muppet would come on here and say .. STICK BY HIM BLAH BLAH BLAH. You just wanted to be that turd tonight. You didn't travel all the way down there. You haven't spent anything going tonight. I'm sorry but you're coming across as right idiot atm. To the O' Neil didn't win for 8 games disabled. He didn't lose 6-1 to a side bottom of the fooking league though.
Vacamion Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Remember all the managers we had between 04 and relegation? I had to look it up in case I'd forgotten any: Micky Adams Craig Levein Rob Kelly Nigel Worthington Martin Allen Gary Megson Frank Burrows and Gerry Taggart Ian Holloway THAT's what happens if you sack the manager every time your arse twitches. Painful as it is, I think we have to give him more time.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Stick with him for at least until game 10. then reevaluate. This is a volatile table where even Derby and Forest find themselves stuck in the bottom half. At the moment city are Jekyll and Hyde. I'm hoping the City that came out fighting against Palace second half, Middlesborough, Cardiff, Leeds and Portsmouth on Tuesday ultimately prevails over their nasty other half. what is the point in wasting more games that he is going to lose us. he plays players out of position and foreign players that we know bullshit about over the likes of Hobbs and Wellens. It is not acceptable ANY longer. I for one am going to say I agree with what the Swansea fans said at the beginning of this nightmare, he is a shit manager!
YouDirtyEnglishBastards Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 In every job he's had he's started slowly. Once he's instilled his identity upon the team you will fly up the league. Keep the faith.
ithuriel Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Nope, 8 league games, a few friendlies and cup games and we get humiliated and thrashed by what was the bottom placed team and i still have no idea what this guys first team is apart from that Howard is our main striker Should have known he was'nt up to our standards coming from Swansea
YouDirtyEnglishBastards Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 But it's only been a few matches. Supporters these days are too impatient. Remember he led a bunch of poor quality journeymen to 7th at Swansea last season. Just think what he'll be able to achieve with world class talent like Richie Wellins & Matty Fryatt in the team. Keep the faith in Sousa & you'll be crowned Champions in March.
sdb Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I say give him 3 more games. Let him go now and we'll always wonder what he'd have done with a bit more time. A 6-1 defeat could be a blessing in disguise; the team could get a kick up the backside for a change (didn't sound like it listening to PS after the match, mind) and start winning games! My gut feeling for some time though, has been that PS and LCFC just aren't gonna work. But we've got winnable games coming up - so it'll be easier to make the call in a few weeks. Also, who the hell is gonna replace him?!
acooling08 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I was calling for his head last night whilst full of anger and emotion. After calming down, I agree that we should give him around 3 more games. If we aren't out of the relegation zone by then, then it may be the time to get rid, but not now.

ozleicester Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Sousa IN! We are (mostly) playing good football and have been particularly unlucky. The defence failings are not entirley down to Sousa, Hobbs ( A player i believe could be a future star) is out of form, is that PS fault? No, Hobbs has to take some responsibility, the same applies for Gally, Oakley, Morrison, et al. Waghorn signed at 3 million is overated and is yet to become a player worth that money (i think he will in time, just not yet). Its time the players stand up and take some of the heat!.......... if you arent capable of playing FOOTBALL, you know the game played by the quality teams, admit it and move on, dont sit around the dressing rooms grumbling. (not that i think that is neccessarily happening, but some here are saying it) NP brought great success, but as UNlucky as we have been this (short) year.. we were on the receiving end of much very good luck last year, I dont think any of us expected promotion and most felt that playoffs wouldve been a huge result. Had we got to the prem with NP and the hoofball we played, we wouldve been like blackpool, expecting to get hammered and relegated immediately. I believe that with the game that PS has us playing, when we get promotion, we will be a side worthy of the premiership, and playing football well enough to stay in it LONG TERM. Sack him now and we will be doomed to (at best) midtable hoofball and mindless boring games. Also..the racism expressed by some in this, and the Sousa out thread, is quite shameful, what makes you think that you know more about Football than those people? and even if you do.. it isnt because of where you were born. Im leicester till i die........... Im leicester till i die Foxes never quit! Sousa IN!
