Lamey 5 - caught out of position too often but did win one key race with Jackson

Kennedy 5 - like Lamey caught out of position too often, but looks like he could be a useful player

Morrison 6 - better than Friday but still vulnerable

Hobby 7 - pick of the defence, big and strong for most of the game

Oakley 6 - worked hard and unlucky to be subbed

Wellens 6 - usual mixed bag, some great touches, other times careless

King 6 - never stopped working but the game rather flew by him

Dyer 5 - never had much time on the ball but great run for our second

Waghorn 7 - for 20 minutes in the second half he was unplayable and three were booked for fouling him. more like last season

Howard 8 - up front on his own for the first hour he battled with some success. Kept going as more joined him up front, the sort of performance a struggling side needs

Fryatt uncategorisable - Did nothing for 10 minute, scored a poachers goal (if it wasn't already over the line) then a classic Matty goal, then stupidly if maybe harshly sent off

Ave 6 - cope well with classic championship football

Sousa 6 - made a brave effort with starting team and subs, but we are so vulnerable to pace and movement it's obscene

Ref 4 - the penalty and sending off were the difference between the sides and both looked harsh

He did, Fryatt partnered Howard but Waghorn stayed on the right.

It did look better, we played well early on with the 4-5-1 but we looked more threatening when 4-4-2 in the second half.

Ilkeme -7 Think he had a good game, not really much he could do about the goals but had a decent game.

Kennedy - 6 Was impressed, got muscled off the ball a bit but generally did quite well.

Hobbs - 8 Played like a lone centre back, really put the effort in but couldnt do morrisons job aswell.

Morrison - 3 Absolute shite, didnt think i saw him once on the ball. Was scared to tackle and push up and get into the players, gave them way too much room, made hoobs look bad for him having to

Lamey - 4 Looked alright going forward but scared of heading and challenging for the ball, the few headers he did make were shocking and either backwards or straight to norwich players.

Dyer - 6 Looked good going forwards but didnt really show the flair he does in most matches.

Wellens - 5 Strong in the middle but had a quite game and didnt create many opportunitys nor support the players going forward

Oakley- 3 Really dont rate him, had a shit game didnt get involved defiantly not a captain.

King- 4 Unusually quite game, didnt go forward enough, to be fair he worked his socks off but just wasnt himself.

Waghorn- 7 Looked threatening going forward, a few decent free kicks and looked easily the best player going forward on the pitch. He battled and battled and showed real passion at the end and when the goals went it.

Howard- 5 Had too much to do on his own with no one playing off him, held the ball up well and won alot in the air but had no one in support.

Subs-

Fryatt - 6 Looked very good when he came on, some decent strong runs but a stupid way to get sent off.

Gallagher - 5 put in some decent balls and did his job really, nothing special nothing bad.

Having read various forums it seems Fryatt was stupid- all I could see was Barnett on the floor and then other players surounded blocked my view. I would like to see it again though.

Ikeme- 6 (Conceded four, but made some good saves)

Lamey- 5 (Slow, prefer Neilson)

Hobbs- 7 (Calm on the ball, seems to be returning to form)

Morrison- 4 (The performance on Friday got to him, not dominant at all)

Kennedy- 5 (Supported the attack well, made a solid block from a cross, then proceded to handball the next)

Waghorn- 7 (Lively, good run for his goal and tested the Norwich left-back for the majoriy)

Oakley- 6 (Okay)

Wellens- 5 (Didn't really make an impact)

King- 5 (Had a hand in the second goal, apart from that not really seen)

Hobbs - 6.5 - Decent game.

Morrison - 5 - Looks an absolutely broken man. No confidence & no mentor. Needs someone to put a shoulder around him and tell him everything will be alright.

Kennedy - 6 - Looked decent, will take some time to adjust to Championship football, but looks like he has potential. Although, he is too left footed. His right leg is literally for standing.

Oakley - 6 - Tried to rally the troops, and started the game well. But as the minutes passed, his impact on the game decreased, and his leadership of the side also stopped. Certainly looked tonight like he couldnt handle 2 games in 5 days.

Wellens - 6 - Added a bit of bite to the midfield, and a bit of much needed structure. Never really imprinted himself on the game though.

King - 6 - Kept running, but never really got the chance to show what he could do. Sides have worked out how to deal with him sitting in the hole.

Dyer - 6.5 - Looked threatening, but again was switched wings just as he got into his stride. This took all his momentum out of his game.

Howard - 6 - Link up play was poor, but always offered an outlet. Works really hard, but the quality was minimal

Waghorn - 7 - Best city player tonight, he tries soo hard, and got his reward with the lucky goal. Kept things a bit simplier today and he looked better for it

Fryatt - 7 - Looked a threat again from the bench. Held onto the ball too long, but took his chances well. Shame he got himself sent off, as he was looking lively.

Gallacher - 6 - Never really made an impact at all apart from hitting the bar with a long range effort.
