Si Gane Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I think Sven will bring in a load of overpaid has beens and then bugger off at the first sniff of an international job. I would like to see someone like Gus Poyet come in with some fresh ideas. He did brilliantly at Leeds (Wise was clueless) and is due a big job.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 What humble pie? I told you it was hugely unlikely that O'Neill would return and now we're being linked with Sven. I would absolutetly LOVE to have egg on my face re: MON but it's staggeringly unlikely and always has been. I was not out to offend with my blunt realism and I am sorry if I did, but I reject any claims that I am some elitist know it all - I'm jus taking the time to look at facts as opposed to lazy journalism from the Mail's gossip collumn. Realism is not an option!
Finnegan Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Yov should probably read up n Sven's domestic career and relax a bit.
bhav136 Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 sven won't last long at city if he came ...my choice would be to go for Tony Mowbray...
FrankieADZ Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Well at least tomorrow we'll see a lot of passion on the touch line with Powell and Stowell in charge On SSN, they just said the CE has gone down to London to speak to a candidate
Len Finsbury Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I'd take Sven as second choice if MON doesn't fancy it. The new owners need a 'name' for their world domination master plan. Sven knows his stuff, unfortunately his private life or rather not-so-private life has tarnished his reputation. Remember, this guy was the first foreign England manager so someone must have thought highly of him.
Master Fox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Imagine if we got MON back and then we were relegated at the end of the season Whoops!
foxymat Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Are SSN just guessing or is it official yet? Rumours are getting everywhere about it now http://www.thesackrace.com/competitions/paulo-sousa-sacked-as-leicester-city-manager/
Bablemikey Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Slavan Bilic has done great with Croatia and has been linked with any number of English managerial positions this year. I think he might be able to do a pretty decent job here.
Guy Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Pardew has got to be the logical choice and I can see nothing standing in his way. Firstly a resounding NOOOOOOOOO to Dowie, Sven would only be a quick fix......while Martin O'Neill is surely the longest shot of the lot - even if everyone's red hot no.1 choice involved with the club. Whoever comes in has a heck of a job on their hands though to get us to a respectable postiioon. Any aspirations we have towards reaching the play offs this season are surely cloud cuckoo land?! I'm saying Pardew is favourite. Remember how successful our last recruit to our management from Southampton was..........;-))))))))

Alexikokopops Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Why don't we go for Alex Ferguson! You say that, but I never would have though MON would hold talks with us! It seems anything's possible in the ridiculous world of Leicester City.
Finnegan Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 You say that, but I never would have though MON would hold talks with us! It seems anything's possible in the ridiculous world of Leicester City. It's Mourinho.
Master Fox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Wasn't MON sitting in the crowd watching the Norwich game on Tuesday? Why? Hmm... Please, please! Martin take the job!
