Sky Sports News reporting both Sven and MON have had talks with us over Managers Position.

MON yes for me but Sven only works with a huge payday.

And you think MON would have cheap wages?

Following Sousa's sacking, SSN have just said that O'Neil and Sven have already held talks with the club.

this comes from 'SSN Sources' which usually means someone from the club has tipped them off

I can't see MoN wanting to work for a club with interfering chairman/owners, I hope we don't get mercenary Sven but he's done a good job with clubs

If we have actually had talks with Martin and it's not just the same rumour that's been going around, I don't think anyone would like anyone else. Not sure I believe we have though. Sven I definitely believe <_<

Leicester 5/2 fav at Paddy Power for Martin's next job. Dare we dream?

He strikes me as the person who WOULDN'T come back to a previous club. Would he want to tarnish his reputation? He could have his pick of some of the top jobs in Europe, if he failed at Leicester then it's a big dent in what he'd built up in recent years.

Having said that, would be great to have him back!

Why is everyone making asumptions like they know MON in reality...? You dont know him and dont know what sort of decision he owuld make. So lets just wait and see. Sven has been an england manager so he cant be all bad. Ill take either one of them.

Wish list of O'neil or Mowbray

Sven would be good for the clubs profile (if thats what TOP is after)

Knowing MM we'll end up with Dowie! *shudder*

If O'Neill comes back it will be because he wants to be back in football quickly and we are an easy choice for him. The man has so much self belief that he'd not give any thought to the fact he's managed us before. He'd also not have any sentiment in leaving us again if a better opportunity comes along. Would we be happy with that? If he can get our season back on track and then leave? I probably would, but it depends who else is interested in us.

This will be a quick decision. Mandaric backed Sousa this week, but someone has made themselves available to takeover and that has made Milan and the Thai's snap their hand off. It's got to be big, it surely can't be Dowie?

Pardew would be the sensible choice, or Mowbray. O'Neill would get fans going wild and instantly there'd be a lift. Sven would be the hollywood appointment and I have always had a soft spot for him, but he'd likely be a disaster.

Why do people keep claiming you need to MON in the flesh to have a brain? People pass judgement by experience using wisdom and common sense - both suggest that for Martin to come here he'd be kicking a habit of ladder climbing.

Agree with that. MON's always been very careful about the jobs he picks - he's a man with ambition and you can see him holding out for a big job (Liverpool, more than likely).

Can't see him wanting to work with Mandy either. That said, you never know.

If MON comes back it will make everyone think that things that would seem highly unlikely CAN happen.
