I agree he should be able to pick who he likes within the rules without question, that is his job.

But the way he has gone on and on and on and on since people actually started turning up to his press conferences and listening has just fueled what was an overblown ego to begin with.

The bloke is just showing himself up.

The Premier League INSIST on a total of 25 players to be named in a a squad.

Exactly.

Apparently Wolves got done for it last year under the terms that each club must field their strongest eleven.

What I'd like to know is who decides and regulates each club and deciphers each squads strongest eleven even though they don't spend a minute on the training ground.

What a stupid rule and contradicts the whole 25 man squad rule.

you might feel differently if your side was relegated on the outcome of a game where a side tanked a game. Ten changes with no reported injuries rather suggests that was the case here. Wolves were done for it so Blackpool should too. If Holloway carries out his threat to resign that's up to him- his disgusting and intemperate ranting at a mild question from Pat Murphy was embarassing .

If the Premier League are punishing managers for picking the team they want to pick, we may aswell do away with managers and let the Premier League pick each clubs starting 11.

To be fair to the league, its understandable that they dont want situations where teams are being sent out already accepting defeat before kick off, which is what Wolves did last year. Its not fair to the fans who pay their money and it waters down the league even further

This bloke is on another planet.

He also threatened to throw coffee over some of the jouro's apparently.

This bloke really is a complete tonk.

I really don't understand what your problem is. If I was in that situation I'd get fooking angry too - what's the point in managers etc being 'professional' when the league they're taking part in are acting like a bunch of wankers? :dunno:

As much as I agree with the premice, a 25 man squad is chosen to be good enough by the manager, who the hell is to say who can play when? The PL have made a massive rod for their own back.

They have set the precedent with Wolves last season, and if I was a Wolves fan and saw this, and if they got away with it, i'd be annoyed that my team had been done for doing the same against a big team, but Blackpool do it against Villa and don't get a suspended fine too?

Holloway's squealing of I'LL QUIT IF YOU CHARGE US is a wonderful escapism tactic, I'm sure they'd love to be the reason why a manager quit the club (not) meaning Blackpool will probably get away with it.

And if they do I fully agree, but if you set a precedent, you can't abandon it unless you explicitly state you are doing so.

It'd be bollocks if he got fined for it, but he shouldn't say he'll walk out cause if they call his bluff he definitely won't.

On the whole I would be impartial too/like him if it wasn't for that season.

The man is an unbearable twat. I actually dislike him more than Wise, Blatter and Barton all rolled into one.

The hay-chewing oaf offends every one of my senses with each pearl of self-pitying crap that he slurs from his slack-jawed, bumpkin mouth.

Or maybe people have moved on from that terrible time and don't mind him as a person anymore? It was 2/3 years ago now and the club have definitely moved on so why can't we?

I actually find him quite amusing and like his rants.
