So who messed up the silence?

There were some right morons in the kop on Saturday did anyone see the guy who was trying to start a fight in SK2, the stewards dragged him out and then unbelievably let him back in to carry on his threats, they even escorted him back to his seat!

Probably a sheep shagger.

Or a Fosse Boy hater.

The geezer with the massive cartoon fox outfit on? Yeah I saw him too. Off his mash on ecstasy pipes I reckon...

At every home game closest to Remberance Sunday for the past 8 seasons the last post has been played followed by silence.

I can see why there was confusion .... I was really surprised it was this way round - I could only remember it being a minutes silence after the ref's whistle and the last post ending the silence ..... I thought the ref's whistle after the last post was incongruous and was the reason for the confusion.

I've been to just about every home game for 20 odd years and this is the way i remember it - maybe I'm wrong and it's been that way for all 8 seasons .... but it still seemed odd and different to me this time and i wasn't at all surprised by people getting confused.

The really stupid bit was the shouting at each other to shut up!!!

In relation to veterans of the great wars, rather than more recent conflicts, assuming that lads could not go to the 2nd world war until they were at least 16, the youngest survivors joining at the start in 1938 would now be 88, so it is not surprising that there are fewer each year.

i know there will be fewer each year(einstein!!!)

Im just saying it really hits home what these Guys did and how long ago, it was that its easy to take it for granted.

When you look at them walking around the pitch you can see the passion and pride they have.

Agree with you. I'm lucky enough to still have my grandparents, both 90. My grandad still has nightmares and can't talk about some of the things he witnessed. It should never be forgotten or taken for granted

Not sure this is the most appropriate picture on the cover of Airdrie's programme.
