MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Yeah it's a good album although a little on the suicide side of depressing though!! The debut SBTRKT album is doing it for me at the minute Another very good album this year in the space of a few months - I can't cope with all this quality output!!!
MC Prussian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Anyone got a d/l for SBTRKT? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=SBTRKT%2C+SBTRKT%2C+Rapidshare
MC Prussian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Who uses rapidshare these days? It's not about Rapidshare, but the search results that show up. All you gotta do is pick and try.
Samilktray Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Somebody recommended me this yesterday and its already 1 of my favourite releases this year. Really interesting sound for a hip hop album, experimental and choppy sounding production. Not like anything I've heard this year.
General Smuts Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Bring your old forks - the Young Knives are back: Currently blaring at work. If you like Cut Copy have a listen to Holy Ghost. Fan of Holy Ghost. Good shit. All the stick i got for my last FT Mix as well and this was on it.
MC Prussian Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Prepping up for Sweden with some fresh tunes from a fresh Swedish electronic band: Little Dragon - Ritual Union
Samilktray Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 This is 1 of the most bizarre stories I've read this year
MC Prussian Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Out later this August - can't wait. And speaking of Australia, I'm now a massive Kimbra fan - debut out this year, too. Good times ahead indeed.
Jay Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 This is 1 of the most bizarre stories I've read this year Shame and to be honest a slight disgrace, thought Eminem was better than that, knicking someone elses tune + that Skepta version is fricken awesome especially the bassline
Samilktray Posted 27 July 2011 Posted 27 July 2011 Just google a guy called 'Knxwledge', just amazing.
leisure suit larry Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 just came across this lot. good stuff www.sulktheband.com/w/wishes-video
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 Out later this August - can't wait. Good times ahead indeed. Going to be one of the Albums of the yeah it's Wally De Backer is a genius such a talented muso, both singles so far have killed it so far. Somebody that i used to know and eyes wide open are both in my top 5 tunes realised this year.
MC Prussian Posted 4 August 2011 Posted 4 August 2011 Another one for Roo (maybe): Fuit Bats started out as an acoustic-oriented folk-pop band, but they're going into a new, more... err... radio-friendly direction this time. Doesn't do them any harm. In fact, I quite like the new stuff:
damolcfc Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 1st ever play worldwide radio 2 at 11.30 monday then all national stations after.... i cant wait

hairy Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Balam Acab http://soundcloud.com/tri_angle_records/balam-acab-apart
MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Stumbled across Blood Orange (aka Dev Hynes) by accident, but I really like his dance/pop/rock (aka alternative) style: Even R'n'B fans like Samilktray should give this a listen. Pop music close to perfection (traces of MJ included).
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 Only just got in to Beirut and loving this album such a chilled album with so many instruments going on it just works well.
Jonezy Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 One of my favorite youtube videos involves Beirut. That take is unreal....
