Daggers Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Best thing hes done is getting the thai's on board. I hope you still think that by the end of next season - I feel you won't.
The Doctor Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 well cheerio then you mad serb. I enjoyed the league 1 tour, not so the relgation and succession of managers as you made doug ellis look like a reasonable person.

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 I hope you still think that by the end of next season - I feel you won't. Any particular reason why?
Daggers Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Any particular reason why? Feelings. Nothing more than feelings.
Karljohn Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Piss off Mandaric you double talking cretin.
darko2k7 Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Yep. Like someone else touched on earlier, I thought we - the fans were going to be the first to know if he were leaving for another club, but weve found out through media stories. Only time will tell whether these Thai's can be trusted etc, but they can't be any worse than Mandaric for keeping broken promises. People saying stuff like this make me laugh, Wot did you want him to do "ring around every fan to tell them he was off" , of course you are going to hear about it from the media . It's not like it's been on for months and we have not been told , it as all been down the line . He can not come forward and say yes I am taking over sheff W and then some one comes in and out bids him or the Co-op don't agree to the terms, so we have all been told asap . The only thing he could of done is to release it on the OS first but we all know how slow they are ! For me it's just a thanks for all your work Milan and GL for the future there really is nothing else to say

After the previous stories of his supposed interest in Sheff Weds he came on to the OS and said he wasn't in talks with Sheff Weds, not mentioning that he had been and that we the fans would be the first to know then surely he could make a similar statement saying he is in talks with them, blaming the OS for being slow, well he's been in charge of the bloody thing for the last 3 years. The bloke is just full of double talk and bullshit.
Corky Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 he's not the messiah ......... Kevin Keegan is.
MrSpaM Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Sheff wednesday fans seem to have started the party already. I personally hope this goes well for them, they seem to have their heads in the clouds a bit though, lots of them saying their going to have millions to spend in january, speculation he's worth 75 million (which'd put him on par with Top), where'd Milans millions come from all of a sudden? i was under the impression he wasnt worth anywhere near this? Just winds me up a bit that the wednesday fans seem to think milans going to them because their a "bigger club" and making out like our backroom staff are terrible and Milans kept the ship floating the whole time by himself, when truth is Milan took us as far as his money would allow, and then sold us for a tidy sum. Milan is a shrewd buisnessman, something he does actually deserve credit for, but he's definatly not the footballing messiah they all seem to think he is. All i can say is hope they do well this season, because i can see him jumping ship if not. Cheers for the years Mr Mandaric, it's definatly been interesting...
Tevez Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 To be fair Clemence was a good bit of business he signed at the time......
MrSpaM Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 To anybody who's interested, he's just been on SS news doing his first interview for the Owls. "Wednesday a bigger challenge than Leicester." "Won't be doing it alone, he needs the help of every staff member and every fan." "Until he's made them what they used to be the job won't be done. " Sound familiar?

So why is he coming to tonight's game = Ego!
Daggers Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Has he promised to get them out of that division? The Blue Square is attractive at this time of year.
Mack Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 To anybody who's interested, he's just been on SS news doing his first interview for the Owls. "Wednesday a bigger challenge than Leicester." "Won't be doing it alone, he needs the help of every staff member and every fan." "Until he's made them what they used to be the job won't be done. " Sound familiar? And from our pitch also. It's virtually word for word what he said when he took over us, and it's all bollocks. He got Wednesday cheap, so cheap the premier Chairman called the offer "laughable" before he realized it was Mandy or going bust. He will want to get them back at the sharp end of the Championship then look for Asian / Arab owners to take over and make another tidy profit. And Lets face it, like us, if he does just that will the Wednesday fans be moaning? From where they are now certainly not.
Wycombe Fox Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 I don't know the truth about the wheeling and dealing that's gone on or how much MM paid for LCFC or how much he sold it for and to be honest I don't care. I feel, my opinion only, that we're in a better position now than when he took over and that's good enough for me. Let's face it, it's been a typical City fan experience - the good ol' rollercoaster again. Would we have still been here now if MM hadn't had a punt on us? Who really knows? All I know is that we are still here. We have a decent squad, new owners who at the moment are saying the right things (OK they may be what the fans want to hear) and one of the best club manager's in the world. Onwards and upwards.
