Craig Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 I see he's still hanging round for tomorrows game. Why can't he just fook off to his next club now, rather than turning tomorrow's big game into another Milan ego boost. Thanks for everything, but you made our club into one hell of a laughing stock at times, I won't miss you.
Jackirius Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Club Pays Tribute To Outgoing ChairmanPosted on: Sun 28 Nov 2010 Leicester City Football Club would like to place on record their thanks and appreciation to outgoing Chairman, Milan Mandaric. In an exclusive statement for LCFC.COM, Executive Director, Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn, his father, Vichai Raksriaksorn and Chief Executive, Lee Hoos all paid tribute to Mandaric, whilst looking forward to the club's future. Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn said: "Milan has provided great support to the club over the past few years and we want to take this opportunity to thank him for everything he has done and wish him all the best for the future. "The club is now in a stronger position to progress and the staff and the players will be doing all they can to bring future success to the club." Aiyawatt's positive message was echoed by his father, as the club seeks to reach the Premier League. He said: "Milan Mandaric has done a great deal for the club, but now it is time for us to help progress Leicester City, to achieve our goals. "The supporters deserve success and with the appointment of our world-class manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson, we will continue to strive to gain promotion to the Premier League." City's Chief Executive, Lee Hoos, who was brought to the club by Mandaric, praised the former Chairman, whilst remaining optimistic that the club will go from strength-to-strength. "No one needs me to say what Milan has achieved in football and what he has done for Leicester City Football Club. "We are now in a stable financial position, with superb owners who will do everything they can to ensure success on and off the field. Their backing has helped to bring six new players in to the squad since Sven's arrival, added to the purchases made in the summer. "This has underlined the owners' ambition and there is no doubt that despite Milan's departure, the club's future is in good hands." Leicester City Football Club is yet to name a replacement for Milan Mandaric as Chairman of the club. An announcement will be made on LCFC.COM as soon as an appointment has been made.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Milan - all a bit ying and yang. Saved us, nearly ruined us, saved us, nearly runied us again. HR skills are zero. I hate Sheff Weds after the bastards chased me across the Hillsborough pitch in 1970. I hope they go into admin. And stay away tomorrow, Milan, you've had your fair share of slaps on the back.
lovelcfc Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 He saved our club good luck to him in the future
davieG Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 I can't wait for Monday to sing Milan is a Leicester Fan always has been always will be whatever those Pompey fans say, even going to Sheff Weds wont change that. Milan Mandaric - the best and most loyal Leicester City fan ever - FACT!

l444ry Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Looks like Mandaric is destined to go into the mythology of Leicester City alongside Nigel (saved us) Worthington.
Benji Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 I can't quite understand all the negativity towards him personally. Regardless of everything that happened on the pitch, the relegation to league 1, the quick-fire employment gun and what was often constant bullshit/blatant lying from day one to the denial of sheff wed reports, the man still kept the club alive. It seems like a lifetime ago we had people outside the ground with buckets collecting every last penny from home and away fans to keep the club afloat. I'm sure all the clubs currently suffering would snap at the chance to have Milan come and sort them out. Even if he hasn't spent a penny on us and in fact has cashed in from the Thai boys while leaving old creditors massively out of pocket, he still came in and did a job which must have been financially and mentally depressing, all for a club he didn't have any affiliation or support for. Give him a break now he's gone. Thanks MM, but now let's just move on and hope the new owners don't shaft us.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Milan MandaricGeneric bullshit quote that was spouted out when leaving Portsmouth, just changing the name to Leicester! Goodbye, do not forget to close the door on the way out. I for one was hopeful you were taking over for the right reasons. All you did was destroy nearly every link with the old times, sack or dive anyone out who may have had a differing opinion than you and made me feel like as a supporter I no longer feel any association with the club. I just hope that the new owners have success for Leicester down as a bigger priority than their own ego and are not involved for just self publicity and a perceived return on their investment which will never happen in the current football climate. If not we could well end like Portsmouth and be in a far bigger mess than before MM arrived. Still watch the new quotes for poor Wednesday fans. "3 year plan" "Milan is a Wednesday fan" "I will keep sacking Managers until I find one that is best for the club." "(Current Managers name) is a good honest guy etc" Then watch as he gets sacked 3 weeks later for refusing to play Robbie Fowler and some obscure Iraqi international. Good luck Wednesday fans. You will need it.
sdb Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 please can people show some dignity tomorrow. i can see people booing him, which would be so humiliating. like or loathe him, he's going so no big deal. we're no worse of now than when he joined so don't overreact. i'm not saying he deserves a medal, i just think booing him would make all of us look complete twits.
MC Prussian Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 At last. Peaceful times ahead at the Walkers now. Puts an end to the tantrums and circus-like happenings in the past. All the best to the Sheffield Wednesday fans - they're in for a rollercoaster ride par excellence. I sincerely hope they don't get relegated to League Two, only for Milan to act as their new "savior".
Edmund Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 I'd like to thank Milan for what he's done to the club. We've definitely moved in the right direction and we're a step ahead of when he took over, even if it involved a relegation in the process. The whole NP saga is the only downside during his reign but without knowing the in's and out's, no one can comment. WIthout his £25,000,000, we probably wouldn't be in existence at this moment in time. Good luck Milan, always a Leicester fan in my heart.

Matt Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 See ya Milan, good luck in your quest in saving Sheffield Wednesday but bring nothing but disappointment. To Milan the saviour
Walshy5 Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Promised everyhing and delivered nothing! the club is in no better position now sence when he arrived. Good riddance Milan you will not be missed!!!!!!!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Wouldn't be surprised to see Alan Irvine sacked within the next few months and NP being bought in.
samjohnson Posted 28 November 2010 Posted 28 November 2010 Wouldn't be surprised to see Alan Irvine sacked within the next few months and NP being bought in. Either that, or hes got a "short"list of managers which he will work through over the next 5 months untill he finds one that gets 3 wins in a row with him picking the team.
