Haydos Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Always admired his skill and felt the Premier League lost one of it's greatest players when he left for Madrid. Didn't think he could improve his game too much but he's enjoyed an insane start at Real. 33 goals in 33 starts in the league & champs league last season and 14 goals in the first 12 league games so far this year. A ridiculous record considering he's not predominantly used as a central forward. I only thought about starting this after seeing this disallowed goal the other day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VGGpHAdGE8 I know he's a smarmy git but you can't deny he has mad skills.
StanSP Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Still prefer Messi . No doubt he's a sublime player and one of the best in the world at the moment, but I'd have Leo over him in my squad. And I know I said it in another thread in which the above video was posted, but I just loved seeing the twat being so pissed off because he didn't get a decision go his way. Makes me laugh when he goes on one of his tantrums.
Finnegan Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 That's how Max Gradel would have turned out if we actually gave our youth players a chance.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Hated him before. Nowadays I think hes amazing.
Hitesh Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Still don't like him. He's a spoilt arrogant little kid.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Still don't like him. He's a spoilt arrogant little kid. He's very good at football and a grade A **** we all know this.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Wunt get in Ashby side mind Manny, eh? No chance, you have to be good on a serious hang over to get in our side, quite possible still pissed in fact, he'd do one of his crappy step over tripping over his feet and landing face first on the ball. Lad can't drink from what I've herd.

Ah, so, this explains Heskey's performance against Algeria in WC. He'd been hanging around with you guys the night before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPKmqspkoXo

I don't play for Ivanhoe I play for the Lamb. Do know a few of their first team though and one of them used to play for us as well as Ivanhoe. Didn't really play Saturdays when I was watching Leicester alot, have stopped recently but don't play often on a Saturday, when I do it's for Moira United (I'm not good enough for the Senior League ) 1st's are looking pretty good at the minute though, had a ropey start but seem to have got themselves sorted. Although they're going to need to do alot of work on their ground or move if they are to be promoted.

Yes, plans are to move but apparantly there's no money to do it, a town the size as Ashby really should have a team further up the leagues. The council don't seem interested in their local side and have been a big barrier in Ashby's progress. With thurmaston's manager moving on to Hinckley and taking his team with him its really made the league open (and fair). I just hope they can sort the move out. Did you know Danny quinn? He left Ashby for Heather, and now he has been signed by Hednesford Town and doing very well, great for the lad.

I've herd they want to take David Hunt or ground share with Heather although can't see that working. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of playing 5 a side against Danny Quinn a few times, thankfully I think he's had to stop now as he's been put on a contract , the lad is quality. £150pw £40 goal bonus so I hear, think he could still go higher to be honest.
purpleronnie Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Nice, fair play to the lad. Yes the plans are to move to david hunts ground, everything looked set and I believe the plan still is to move there. It would be a real pity if they win the league and don't progress.
Mikey Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 I love him. Prefer him over Messi anyday of the week, even though Messi is still amazing! Second favourite player next to King.

sdb Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 CR and Messi are by far the best players in the world and I honestly think already in the top 10 of all time. They're unstoppable.
Thracian Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 That's how Max Gradel would have turned out if we actually gave our youth players a chance. Yes, it's quite startling how we bring our forwards on. One goal in 27 for Leicester plus 7 assists. Nine goals in 45 for Leeds plus 9 assists. As for the "wingers" who've replaced him here...yes, haven't we done well!
