I went for a unofficial christmas do (Basically the one the company had set up is rubbish so they set their own up) last night with my old company so that was nice to be invited, struggled today though, hungover and tired.

I think I'll pass. Anyway, it's all about the curling club Christmas party tomorrow night. I hope we also get a motley bunch of curlers together to raid a nearby bar like a horde of Vikings afterward.

None of the Eastern European fitties go, just the old bags out of the sewing shop. No money behind the bar from senior management. Just a load of shit really. Fair to say I didn't go!

My gaffer insisted I go though, so I attended to keep up appearances. I don't really drink so the free bar was even wasted on me. ....... let's just say I managed 4 hours and I won't be able to get those back. The other half got the Saturdays and Culshaw at hers, which was on the same night.

z-layrex Posted 19 December 2010 Posted 19 December 2010 Mine was ridiculously messy, I don't think i've seen people so drunk in a long time. The consultants all put a 100 quid each behind the bar but that went in about 50 minutes. Great night though it was nice to talk to people I normally wouldn't be able to, not that I can remember much of it.
