Ozwin Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 I think the Fosse Boys start it anyway, it sounds like one bunch of people shout 'Sven Goran' and another lot shout 'Eriksson' - that's probably not it but I thought I'd ask. In the last few home games the Fosse Boys have started it and after a good 5/10 minutes of persistance the kop joins in and it sounds really good. I'd like to maybe join in with it tommorow. Cheers.

Eriksson's Blue Army? Goes, Blue Army and then during the gap Eriksson's.
Corky Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 Eriksson's Blue Army? Goes, Blue Army and then during the gap Eriksson's. It's the one I've heard.
SamL Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 It's hardly original, our fans have been singing it for years about different managers. I'd like to confirm that is in fact 'Eriksson's Blue and White Army'
Fosse Boy Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 I thought it was 'Excellent Blonde Army'? Hardly just Fosse Boys either. Everyone sings it.
1964FOX Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 in fairness, we do start it off and it's nice to have most of the Kop join in. As said it's easy to sing and an update of several 'manager' chants so nothing new. Does create atmosphere though so it's good for me All together now 'Eriksson's, Blue and White Army'
Ozwin Posted 10 December 2010 Author Posted 10 December 2010 Hardly just Fosse Boys either. Everyone sings it. I know I know, it's just you lot are usually the ones that get it going and it seems to sound a bit different with Eriksson's name in it.
Jodranadinho Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 yeah I wouldn't say it was a fosse boys chant since it's just an updated version of previous managers, but I think it'd be fair to say the fosse boys get it going more often that not. it's a shame that no new songs travel round the ground as well as simple ones like this. Mind you it might just be me but the gally chant seems to be catching on more and more.
Daggers Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 I'm not sure what I find saddest - that someone can't work out a simple chant or that they need to ask for permission to sing it. We're setting an awful precedent here for when Walkers attends his first match.
Ozwin Posted 10 December 2010 Author Posted 10 December 2010 I hardly asked for permission Calm down love.
yorkie1999 Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 heres what to do get one of your lot to stand in sk3 or 4 and try and work out what you are singing or sing it a few more times
Bugg Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 heres what to do get one of your lot to stand in sk3 or 4 and try and work out what you are singing or sing it a few more times My sides are splitting...

yorkie1999 Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 i thought they were singing "hairy bum.. flu and eye barmy".... thought it is a strange thing to sing
Daggers Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 I hardly asked for permission Really? I'd like to maybe join in with it tommorow. Cheers. You should start writing education policy documents for the LibDems.
Shrenchel Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 I sometimes wonder if Ozwin is just some really bizarre, long-winded, fvcked up wind-up. I admire your perseverance if so mate.
