Man City fans perspective of us

A couple of comments from man city fans which were nice to hear;

Stu, fair play to the Leicester fans, well done mate.

Hey we have class? REALLY, SHUSH.................Dont tell anyone.

Again well done Leicester... RESPECT...

Just got in from the match after having spent the afternoon/evening/night with some of Leicester's finest and thought you were unlucky tbh.

I thought the support from the away fans was the best we've seen at COMS all season, fair play to those that travelled, and yes, our support at mid week matches unfortunately, does leave a lot to be desired!

You should indeed be very proud of your team, and fans.

Walking back from the ground to the City Centre last night, Man City fans around were saying that we were very impressive and we play the type of football that makes them pleased to watch it. They said the fans were really good and it was amazing to see 6000 fans standing for the whole game.

Always nice to hear compliments about how loud you are, really wanna see the coverage on espn as others have said though.

I didn't realise how loud we were. Apparentley on the TV we were all you could hear

Yeah it was very loud. It sounded like a derby match. Well done!

I thought we went a little quiet at times too and should of sang more for 6k, but i was on the back row of the top tier so might of been a little detached from it all

I think generally we were really good but if anything we were all too separate, I remember times where the right and left sides of the bottom were literally singing completely different things because we were too spaced out, and obviously two tiers doesn't help. If it was one stand, not so wide but further back I bet it would've been even better.

I really wanna see the game.

Apparently ESPN classic (which anyone with sky has) will show the full game again next week.

no you have to pay for it (extra £1 per month)

I can tell you you could only hear the Leicester fans on the box, although to hear i9t you have to put up with Craig Burley, who's mrs must of left him or something he was so arsey

Yeh with it being two tiers didn't help. Though the Man City away fans last Sunday were the best this season. Yes better than Leeds on Boxing Day IMO. There were occasions (only a couple I admit) where i couldnt hear mysef talk to my mate next to me last Sunday

No contest! Leeds were by far better.

Analysis from a Man City fan

A few nice comments:

"the menacing Dyer"

"Howard started up front for the visitors in the absence of Vassell and Yakubu and had a good aerial contest with Lescott" :D

"tireless channel running of Vassell, who vacates space for the likes of King and Abe to exploit."

"excellent Richie Wellens"

And this about Samba and Hobbs:

"Great centre half, he'll be in the prem before too long imo."

"If you're referring to Sol Bamba then I couldn't agree more.

Can't say I'd ever heard of him before he scored against us in the first game and according to the commentator on Fox Soccer Channel he's been capped 25 times for the Ivory Coast!

Clearly a shrewd signing by Sven and on the two occasions I've seen him play he looks like he should be playing at a better level than the Championship."

"His centre back partner, Jack Hobbs, might also be playing in the Premiership in the future as well. Made a few appearances for Liverpool a couple of seasons ago and while he might never ever be Liverpool standard (well, the standard they were then, anyway) he could make it and do quite well for a mid-table Premiership club."

About Samba:

Maybe Sven will give us first option on him? The Toure's will obviously know him well too...

If someone can tell me how to get it off my Virgin box, I'll gladly share
