Jakemoore Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 Not normal, not acceptable, London scum. Hey, I'm from London, ta.
Jakemoore Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 The racist chants yesterday were disgusting and mindless. I'd love to see TFL do something it but we all know they won't. Leicester fans aren't whiter than white though (ahem). The yuki chant needs to go, its wrong in more than one way. Why would Transport For London get involved? Haha sorry poor joke I know.
MeatyLCFC Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 bristol city was the worst hull away, man city away (i think someone sed sumthin bout this but chud be wrong ) now milwall, anymore?? soo much for kick rasicm out of football
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I'd rather live in multi-cultural Leicester than scummy council flat in London. Racist chants are irritating but then again who are we to speak with our Yuki-dog chant? Thats our own player though, its not meant in an offensive way. Cue the 'Koreans eat dogs' statement. On the Millwall racist chanting : Usually you blame the minority, but with Millwall it is the minority. There all pikeys. I didnt see a single woman/kid following their team, which is quite sad really. Just fat bold old blokes with nothing better to do than be scummy twats out to cause trouble. We've had loads more fans down the way in numbers with little trouble. 1500 or so of them and everyone seemed like a hooligan. Acting like animals during and after the game. I bet half their 'fans' aren't fans, just people that want trouble so follow Millwall because they know they will get some.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Ignore the scummy ****ers, there ****s.
Jakemoore Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 Because lots of stupid, scummy chavs go to football games unfortunatly. It's horrible but what can you do? Get rid of Millwall FC to be honest, they've caused nothing but trouble from day one of their scummy history.
Wymsey Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 bristol city was the worst hull away, man city away (i think someone sed sumthin bout this but chud be wrong ) now milwall, anymore?? soo much for kick rasicm out of football Well if this carries on, then i suggest fans need to complain to lcfc about this and go from there.

Leicester fans aren't whiter than white though (ahem). The yuki chant needs to go, its wrong in more than one way. The Football League are afraid of fans. That's why racism, homophobia and sexism are alive and well in football. That is all.
Jimbo Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Perhaps but I'd say it's accidental racism. And I doubt Yuki would take offence. Ignorant more than malicious Racsim is racsim. Doesn't matter what level it's on. You can't excuse what some of our fans chant and then get your back up about opposing fans. This is why, unfortunately, racsim will always be a part of all walks of life not just in football or sport in general. Far too many people accept certain remarks as nothing more than banter and make excuses for it. If racism is to be completely removed from football then it has to be done so on all levels. I accept your remark about it being more ignorant than malicious but at the end of the day it's the same difference
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Goin off topic but staying with millwall... what happened near the coaches i read their forum they reckon they beat up some leicester fans ?
FuriousFox46 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Goin off topic but staying with millwall... what happened near the coaches i read their forum they reckon they beat up some leicester fans ? The family stand kicked the shit out of the Millwall fans.
walkerlcfc91 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 The family stand kicked the shit out of the Millwall fans. Wouldn't surprise me, don't half the old BS sit in there these days?!
Jakemoore Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 Goin off topic but staying with millwall... what happened near the coaches i read their forum they reckon they beat up some leicester fans ? Yeah bollocks, Millwall fans always make shit up to big em selfs up. Pre-match, I spoke to a Millwall supporting mate of mine and he said they would batter us and that they have a better firm then us, I simply replied, I'm talking about the football. Such is the attitude of the Millwall scum, they only want a fight. And calling Leucester a shit hole is rich coming from a club whose stadium neighbours a pikey camp and railway line on one side and an industrial park on the other. Ohhh and as for Bermindsey. I've been there once, shit hole.

I accept your remark about it being more ignorant than malicious but at the end of the day it's the same difference Well not really. People chanting the stupid Abe chant are doing it because they find it funny, not because they want to imply any hatred of, or be negative about, Japanese people (I assume anyway) Whereas people singing "Town full of pakis" or anything similar in that context are clearly suggesting that they consider a 'paki' to be a bad thing. They are implying hatred, and to me that is an important difference.
Jakemoore Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 Wouldn't surprise me, don't half the old BS sit in there these days?! The BS on the real football factory the other day looked quite impressive tbh, dunno if it's still around but I wouldn't mess with them if I werent a city fan.

They are implying hatred, and to me that is an important difference. But they find it funny so by your logic it's okay. Yes the Abe chant may be unintentional racism but after all you can't spell unintentional racism without racism :\
lestajigs Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I heard them chant 'Engerland etc' countless times. Cvnts How is this racist you div!!!!!
acooling08 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I didn't hear any of this - the millwall fans were very quiet. I have 2 points: 1) They only sing it because they know it winds some of us up. 2) I've heard our fans singing 'Sousa shagged your son' (against welsh teams), 'She said no Nobby', 'Does your boyfriend know you're here?' (against Brighton) and others which are all just as offensive, but yet no one seems to pick up on this. Tbf, at least 'Town full of Pakis' is accurate for bigger teams like Man City. Tis true, we are a smaller club with a lotta asians. Correct me if I'm wrong.
lcfcadam Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 But they find it funny so by your logic it's okay. Yes the Abe chant may be unintentional racism but after all you can't spell unintentional racism without racism :\ Millwall fans singing songs which they KNOW are racist and which directly signify a belief that people of another race are subhuman is NOT the fooking same as a few people incorrectly suggesting that a Japanese footballer might eat a dog because he comes from a country that sounds like it might be somewhere near Korea. They might both go down in the dictionary as racism, but this is an issue of common sense as well, and common sense does not allow you suggest that people singing "He'll eat your fooking dog" are proponents of active racism, and therefore can't comment on another group of fans racially abusing a particular ethnic group.
Kitchandro Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Racsim is racsim. Doesn't matter what level it's on. I accept your remark about it being more ignorant than malicious but at the end of the day it's the same difference No I find it completely different. I'm Italian, if my own fans made a chant about me eating pasta I wouldn't take offence. It's not a criticism that Korean's eat dogs, it's just a fact. The only reason the chant might be considered racist is because he is in fact Japanese. The fans who chant this are generalising that part of Asia. However, they are not doing so on purpose. I don't see it as the same difference at all. Intent makes a difference, the Yuki chant is in support of him, the Millwall chants are malicious. There is a massive difference there.
lcfcadam Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 How is this racist you div!!!!! Please, please, please don't tell me you don't get it? Singing "Engerland..." in order to suggest that Leicester isn't in England because of its high immigrant / non-white population?

(against Brighton) and others which are all just as offensive, but yet no one seems to pick up on this. Oh my fooking god what understanding of common sense and principals do people have on here? None of those chants are "just as offensive" as one which targets a specific ethnic group. For example I can 110% tell you that were I a supporter from Brighton (gay or not) I would not find that particular chant offensive in the slightest, purely funny, and I'd consider anyone offended by it to be a complete loon.

Unless I've missed something about Portugal/Wales? Sorry if I have. The Brighton one I suppose technically you've got a point, but for some reason it doesn't seem nearly as bad as racism

And accusing someone of rape not offensive?
Kitchandro Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Not exactly prejudice against one group, but 'Sousa shagged your son' was cringeworthy considering most away fans have young sons. And accusing someone of rape not offensive? Hardly accusing is it? He was accused of it but not by us. We are just acknowledging that he was accused of it. As for the Sousa one, you are just being too touchy. I don't see anyone taking offence to that or taking it seriously in the slightest.
