Racist chants

Recommended Posts

I know we had this discussion after the Bristol City match but it happened again yesterday against Millscum. They were singing "we all hate pakis" followed by "Leicester's got Pakis I wanna go home" why are we being targeted by this racist attitude revolving around the Asian race?? Is racism normal in football or is it just us who hear these racist chants?

Can't they fine the club for that?

Really how backward can you be

Football league is required evidence that they chanted racial remarks towards us before making a decision on this, ie, sound recordings

I live in South East London (roughly 20 minutes away from the Den) and this area is as multiple cultural as it comes, you'd think they'd not signal out different races. They're a disgrace, I'm glad we smashed the w*nk*s

Some clubs do have fans who are retarded enough to think this qualifies as decent banter.

Millwall are notorious for it, Leeds gave it to us for years at Filbert Street and the Walkers, Bristol City away this year and Forest haven't been above such shit either in previous years. They all have one thing in common. They're absolute cunts who don't deserve any attention.

Can't really comment on which other cities get it but we get it because of how many ethnic minorities there are, I doubt we are the only team to get it.

I've got a video of them chanting it and it is as clear as anything, it's in FB, wanna do em in?

I also heard them chanting something about Leicester and I heard the word Taliban too. Think it is utterly disgusting and this is part of the reason you don't see many asians down the football, a lot of them are scared. They wont get a fine though as the FL have no backbone and wont persue it.

I fear that you're right. I've never lived in Leicester but I know there is a huge Asian community there, it would be nice if they did come to the football more, it would be great to fill the stadium with locals, White, black, Asian, blue whatever colour.

Surely there is footage of the whole game somewhere? I mean what do the blokes who film the matches do with it all once they've finished editing it?

Do eye witnesses not mean anything these days either? (not just fans but stewards as well - just exactly what is their job?)

Firstly Millwall fans are utter cun ts and those chants are disgusting, Millwall FC are a disgrace to English football.

I've been to the last 2 Leeds home games and didn't hear any racist chanting, so either I had selective deafness or the have, thankfully, stopped being cun ts.

As for Bristol City, I wasn't there, but the type of chants that were said to have sung were not of the same level of hatred and cun ttery of Millwall, they were more in the tasteless banter side of things which we are all probably guilty of at some times in a football match, and my views on them are on here somewhere. I don't think they deserve to be branded with the same mark as Millwall fans.

Not normal, not acceptable, London scum.

Me, my father and cousin brother try to get down to as many games as we can every season. Last season we were at the home game v Forest and on the way home through some flats a group of lads, who were City fans were trying to hit us by kicking plastic bottles at us from behind and got my cousin on his back, presumably because we're Indian. As much as I was upset, I was more disappointed with it all. At the end of the day, we're all City fans and we go to games to see our team hopefully win and have a good time together, so what is the need for racism.

Being from Leicester, a diverse multi-cultural city it really got to me. From a victims point of view it's an absolutely horrendous experience so please think twice before acting in any racist way!

I'd rather live in multi-cultural Leicester than scummy council flat in London. Racist chants are irritating but then again who are we to speak with our Yuki-dog chant?

Hardly in the same league as what they were saying is it.

This. Absolutey moronic behaviour of the highest order

True.

But it's still racism.

Perhaps but I'd say it's accidental racism. And I doubt Yuki would take offence.

Ignorant more than malicious

The racist chants yesterday were disgusting and mindless. I'd love to see TFL do something it but we all know they won't.

Leicester fans aren't whiter than white though (ahem). The yuki chant needs to go, its wrong in more than one way.
