Person attendance records..

I just remembered the other day a bloke saying on the train back from Baaaaarnsleh that he'd only missed like 3 or 4 home games since the late 60s, which is very impressive. it just got me thinking about it and how it might be interesting to see what peoples longest consecutive games are and other such records.

For me it's limited. I've never had an ST because I wasn't interested enough to want one years ago when it might have been possible, but it isn't now feesable because I can't afford a ticket and a train ticket for every game too. First thing I do when I finish uni is get a season ticket though thats for sure. I only started going to away games last season as well because my dad has never taken me and because of having few city supporting mates it's only really been possible recently.

I have been doing my best to make up for lost time as going to city is pretty much number 1 priority bar the small matter of a degree.

so far this season, I've been away to Barnsley, Preston and Man City and I have a ticket to brammall lane as well as plans for s****horpe and Doncaster. QPR and middlesborough look like possibilities too

my record is a measely 5 in a row, set after man city away as I've been to 6 home games this season this season, including leeds, swansea and man city which make the 5 with our last two aways.

how's everyone else been going on?

Home games? I've only missed the Middlesborough one at the start of the season as I was on a stag do.

Aways- Ive not done many this season compared to some- Burnley, Leeds (twice), Watford, Man City, Millwall. Can't think of any others. Forest and Derby away are certanties. Everyone lives by their means though. You're inviting the 'my diks bigger than yours brigade on here now!!

Only missed reading at home this season due to being on holiday. Been to 10 aways this season.

I work shifts so for the last few seasons it has been hit and miss. This season ive only been to home games against QPR, Hull City, Derby County, Notts F****t, Leeds United, Manchester City and Millwall and none away from home, which is a money and shift issue combined. I admire any fan who goes to lots of games, ive not had a season ticket for over 10 years now and have to rely on membership cards each year and the odd away game if im lucky (last away games were Walsall, Huddersfield and Peterborough from Div 3 season). Up the Foxes :scarf:

I had my first season ticket in 97-98 and had one every year since. I've missed about 5 home games in that time (people will insist on getting married on Saturdays) but my away record is virtually non existent. I think I went to 3 away games one season and usually get to a couple but this season I might not manage any

i work shifts aswell and frustratingly it means i miss usually 2 out of every 3 Saturday games so my recent record isnt very good, ive only been to around 5 or 6 home games this season so far

I went about 10 years in the 70's, might of missed one or two because of illness, but those were fantastic times.

ive been to see Leicester City away against Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Charlton (at WH ground), Hull City, Cambridge United, Oxford United, Barnsley, Port Vale, Stoke City, Huddersfield Town, Walsall, Notts County, Derby County, Notts F****t, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa, Peterborough United as well as visiting Norwich City, Exeter City, Heart of Midlothian, Glasgow Rangers, Partick thistle and obviously Wembley several times but these are spread over the last 31 years so i suppose its not very much really is it?

Im a ST holder, have been for a few years and get to as many aways as I can (p2).

This season only missed Swansea @ home due to illness. Not done many aways this year so far although going to most between now and the end of the season. So far been to Coventry, Bristol, Barnsley, Watford & Man City.

Only do the big home games - Cardiff, Trees, Leeds, Sheep and Man City.

Missed two league aways at Coventry and Norwich and Im suppost to be cutting down this season.

How many times have you gone to city and not been in daddys box? ;)

Only a couple of times when invited into the directors box :P

Longest amount of home games I'd been to was 15 in 2003/2004. Had a home season ticket with my dad.

Can't go to many now though. Next match I'm going to is Ipswich home.

Really not sure what I'd prefer more, to match your staggering attendance or rock up to Southend with Spongebob facepaint.

Saturday's game against Millwall was my 100th competitive Leicester game in a row.

Shockingly and desperately, I did research on my 100 games as I love stats, spanning from Bristol Rovers away in 08/09.

Turns out i've seen 45 wins, 25 draws and 30 defeats. (which works out nicely) We've also conceded 139 to our 121 scored. (I know, oh ****ing dear I actually worked that out  )

I have to say though, i'm getting a bit tired of the run, and it'll probably end soon. I don't enjoy the travelling as much anymore, I don't enjoy not winning after a long journey anymore, and the Ipswich away match in December sucked the living daylights out of my desire to attend away games for a while.

Then you get matches like Man City away, which bring it all back.

It'll end sooner rather than later, with last year of uni and graduation, getting a job etc. When it does end it'll be hard, I really can't imagine not going. But I've been lucky to have had my run through one of the most exciting periods in the club in the last 10 years, and no-one can take that away.

I know a couple of people who put my 'run' to shame though. One person I know hasn't missed an away game since Everton in the 1999/00 season, and hasn't missed a match at all since Blackpool at home in the cup in 2005. Committment.
