Just heard about Neil Young sadly losing his battle against cancer today.

My thoughts go out to his family. RIP

Load of insensitivity on Twitter about it not being THE Neil Young. Phrases such a 'relieved' and 'turns out some footballer just popped his clogs'.

Ignorant knobs.

Some people, eh? No sensitivity at all, imagine if a family member had read one of them comments.

Condolences to his family. Sad news indeed but he will be remembered by Leicester fans for all the right reasons as a worthy and much respected opponent. RIP

RIP Nelly. The word 'legend' is used far too often these days but this is one of the few cases in which it is totally deserved. Of course, he's best known for the goal against Leicester in the 1969 Cup Final and I must say, it's fitting that we should play you in the cup again at such a poignant time. Thanks for being so respectful during the tributes and hope to see you in the Prem soon.

Cheers.

Sad news, but it makes me wonder if Neil had seen the gestures that had been made towards him over those two games (and I believe he did get shown them) and came to the conclusion enough was enough so to speak? Its at least nice to think that a tribute has been given to someone while they're around to see it - too many tributes are made when people have gone and can't appreciate how much they actually meant to everyone.
