deep blue Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 I rolled a die, it said 4, therefore we are definitely going to finish in fourth. Simple You think it's nailed on that we'll finish auto or play-offs then, or you just happened not to have a 24-sided die?
ibbosuk Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 losing £50 a bit of fun? supporting LCFC when we're near the play offs a bit of fun? you're messed up! just give me the money if you're so willing to lose it It all adds to the excitment of the chase, and a tidy profit it we go straight up, and I'll enjoy it even more.!! ..........Come On You Blue Boys!!...
Captain... Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 You think it's nailed on that we'll finish auto or play-offs then, or you just happened not to have a 24-sided die? You're right maybe my scientific model needs some work. After some serious statistical analysis I decided to modify my model, seeing as first is almost impossible and we are currently seventh, and I only have a 6 sided die (my dungeons and dragons days are over so I gave all my 12 sided and 24 sided dice to charity). My model is now D6 + 1, with 1 in 6 chance of automatic promotion, and a 1 in 6 chance of missing out on the playoffs. Then it is 1 in 6 for 3rd - 6th. In the event of a 1 I will re roll to determine first or second. ... ... ... It's a 3. 3 + 1 = 4 So we will finish fourth, same as last time, Time to find a Spanish bookies that has heard of Leicester methinks, just need to roll the die to see how much to bet...
Guest Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 I'm glad there's a long way to go because I've got us missing out in 7th with 84pts a point behind Norwich and 2 behind Forest. At least it's all in our hands. We've got some massive games coming up against the other playoff challengers and we need to win them. we do that and there's no reason we can't at least make the playoffs. QPR and Swansea automatic promotion. Come on City prove my results wrong.

Guest Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 I'd be surprised if 84 was anything less than 4th place. Yeah, but when you predict results it's not logical to predict anything but a win when you're at home to a lower side or even away to a much lower side.

It's not logical but by saying that you admit it's entirely plausible, therefore the playoffs almost certainly won't be filled with teams on 85-90 points.
blueredswed Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 Why don´t wait tonights clash? Bristol after that

Captain... Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 no because we came fifth I meant same as my last scientific prediction which was also 4th. Basically 2 different scientific models came up with us to finish 4th, so it is a guaranteed fact, put some money on it if you want some free money.
ramadaone Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Think you are being over optimistic for all the teams : QPR 85 Forest 81 Leeds 80 City 80 Swansea 79 Norwich 79
